Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
Ian Bothams not commentating till Trotts taken out of the attack
Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
England can't let Tendulkar settle in. If they do there could be another big score coming his way.

Gotta love those optimistic Indian fans: "100th 100 Sachin.... and may you play for another 1000 years!!!"

Imagine how many hundreds he would have got by then!
Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
they're so close to our score. i think we'd be lucky to be less than 150 behind come the second innings.
are any of our top order in the form to cope with that?

Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
Only one wicket for the session...pitch generally playing a bit better...all adds up to India's morning and England have work to do after lunch.
Not gone yet but slipping away...big next hour : time for Broad to nip in with some quick wickets

Big session up next. If we dont get an early wicket then I could see Dravid and Sachin still being there at tea

Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
Good start for Broad and I hope he's going to have a good session ahead of him. The same for Bresnan who should be bowling now .
Glad that Strauss was awake and his lunch did not cause him to drop one , catch that is !

Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
Broad really is bowling well, Raina shouldering one over the slips for 4. I definitely had him dropped for the first test, glad I've been proved wrong! Could do with getting the Wall, but if not we need to keep taking wickets at the other end. Yuvraj isn't a great test batsman and we had the tail cheaply twice at Lords. Still a chance of bowling them out for 250-300 if we go well from here.
Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
Broad looks a different bowler from the SL series. He looks a different bowler from this morning !
Raina has a lot of luck early on doesn't he !

Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
I am really happy for Broad here. He was under alot of pressure to perform and he has done.
Good to seen him get Tendulkar.
When oh when is that 100th 100 coming, i really want to see Tendulkar get it.

Raina is not enjoying batting against Broad at the moment. Dravid looks set for a long knock though.

Will somebody please fix that blind... it annoys me too when they keep showing it!

Get the feeling India would not get away with a top and middle order fold that Eng produced so will play much better here in the middle order/

They've shut all the blinds now. They're just showing highlights of when the blind was flapped open.

Oh, well that's even more annoying - playing replays of it. I'd rather see shots of people canoeing on the river...

Short and wide from Jimmy, Raina smashes to Morgan at backward point and gone. 139-4.

To be fair, I wouldn't mind doing just 5 weeks work in 15 years
Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
Yuvraj dropped by KP in the gully off Broad. Absolute dolly. Sierra Hotel India Tango.

Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
nah not close Billy. needed them 6 down already.
The difference is they have less of a tail but we've let them get too many i fear. They can't lose.
one thing is for sure. this match ain't going 5 days.. 3 more likely.

Is Swann going to bowl at all?
And Trott off the field, that's not good

Re: England vs India 2nd Test debate
If they don't get Yuvraj soon KP is going to have to make a lorry-load of runs to make up for that drop.
With Swann not bowling it is going to be hard to keep this after-lunch pressure up for much longer.
Still feel England are only a wicket or two away from being right back in it ... and as I type here comes Swann
Not his type of wicket but he has a knack of striking early...
