They look comfortable. i think a huge lead is incoming.

Swann Vs Yuvraj should be good. Yuvraj wants to bat against the spinner, Swann wants to bowl to the left-hander. Both men will fancy it. And maybe we'll get Dravid run-out or something...

Well...quali for the Hungarian GP was pretty interesting.

I see India are another 3 wickets down...could have been 4 if KP had held on to that chance off Yuvraj. Still at 158-4 another wicket would put the game right back in the melting pot.

i think KP drops the match and i think he;'s struggling too much to make up for it with the bat.

I just hope KP's drop doesnt cost England too dearly.

It's already cost us 23, which is over 10% of our first innings total.

Dravid is looking just too comfortable right now.

Simple enough chance but kp is a lousy fielder. The pressure returns after some good play by england.

Yuvraj looks so stylish at times with his stroke play.

Yuvraj didn't look so stylish against the pace bowlers though. But they have to rest of course , and he is enjoying Swann.

Yes India are well on top now , but all is not yet lost. They have to bat last , so essentially England will need to match whatever they score here in their own second innings.
Easier said than done but hardly impossible as the pitch improves. Just need to keep the (now inevitable) Indian lead to reasonable proportions.

Still need to break this stand soonish.

The way India are playing, i would expect a 200 run first innings lead at least

India need to pass the mark of 300 today.

Dravid to get a double hundred and Yuvraj to make a big hundred. India to declare on 550-4...

Dravid looks as solid as ever and is odds on for yet another ton and Yuvraj is starting to get into his stride.

we can see now that we're not number 1 material. we've peaked well short of that standard but at least we tried.

india are laughing at us, and look above their fans think we're laughing stock.

Its not his fault, he being made look poor and ordinary by the batting legend(s)

it's flat and easy out there. nothing for a spinner at all.

nothing even remotely legendary about that yuv bloke. average but it's easy now.

Come on Trebbs, there may not be much out there for Swann but he usually can create something. He is not bowling well and these two have taken a liking to him.

Dravid is really playing superbly. Tendulkar not having a good series but this man is making up for him.
He was under pressure last night and early today but came through and now looks impregnable.

(I am not giving up though : new ball not far away and the Indian tail is brittle. Though of course the way they play Harbhajan and Kumar could very well score quick 50s if things go their way)

Bookies will have India short right now but I've seen too many matches swing around to be writing this one off yet.

I just hope that Broad and Jimmy can be effective when they get the new ball but Dravid looks like a rock out there

I know this will sound weird but its at these times i miss Colly. His offcutters would have been very good here.

So Inda take the first innings lead. Damage control for England now.

Wouldn't expect Collingwood to be too effective at this stage , but I think he'd have bowled well before lunch when the ball was doing a bit.

Certainly more threatening than Trott

(And Trott won't be bowling again here - let us hope he'll be OK to bat)

We can only hope the new ball gives our bowlers some help, otherwise these two will be batting all day tomorow as well...

I dont know alfie, i think Colly would hve bowled well right now. He was pretty usefull as a partnership breaker.

I haven't checked the records , Billy , but my memory is of tidy bowling but not many wickets in Tests in this sort of situation. But I agree he was a better part timer than the ones they have at the moment.
