This could have potential... name 3 wrestling events, put them in order. A nice mix up on the traditional quiz format.

Re: What came first?
I have one but i must confess i dont know the answer myself...
First time someone kicked out of a stunner
First time someone kicked out of a tombstone
First time someone kicked out of Hogan's Leg drop
I guess the answer could be obvious but with Hulks rep it wouldnt surprise me if it took years for him to let someone to kick out of that!

Re: What came first?
Yeah sorry for killing your original idea off quickly Jai, it could be a cool thing to do though.
I'd guess as regards to the kicking out question, I know the Ultimate Warrior kicked out of the Tombstone in around 91, so that's definitely older than the Stunner and the only time I remember someone kicking out of the Leg Drop was Sid at Wrestlemania 8 in 92, so I'd go for Someone kicking out of the Tombstone.

Re: What came first?
Hogan no sold the tombstone at Survivor Series 91.
Sid kicked out of leg drop at Mania 8 (but wasn't scripted to)
Stunner? Bret Hart mania 13? Or Rock or Taker?
What happen 1st?
D Lo wins European Title
Savage Joins nWo
Lightheavyweights title debuts in WWF

Savage joining the NWO (mid 97).
Also didn't Warrior kick out of the leg drop at Wrestlemania 6 in 1990?

Was about to type the same thing earlier. Then I paused and could only remember him dodging it before hitting the big splash - which incidently I think Hogan kicked out from earlier.
Edit: I'm still unsure though, as I have this image in my head of a 'what do I have to do to put him away' look on Hogan's face.

Re: What came first?
Whoa..I was thinking that they really wanted to push Sid if Hogan let him kick out...what happened when he kicked out and wasnt scripted to?
And how do you manage to not sell a tombstone..surely you just lie there?
I was after who had hte moved performed on them and then kicked out as the ref was about to count 3. Dont really count dodging or non-selling (unless thats what you mean by not selling it).
But its still looking like the tombstone then (Warrior).

Re: What came first?
Sid kicked out because it wasn't the planned finish of the match; Papa Shango was supposed to interfere but didn't make it to the ring in time, so they had to improvise.
You no-sell a tombstone by getting straight up afterwards!
Surely if Warrior was the first person to kick out of a leg drop at WM6 then he is the answer?

Warrior never kicked out of the leg drop, he just avoided it I thought.

I'm sure it was Sid at Mania 8, cant remember anyone kicking out of it before then.
Talking about no sells, you cant beat Warrior no selling the Pedigree at Mani 12!

Re: What came first?
Although the late 80's and early 90's had some of the best characters that the WWE/F have produced, they did manage to also produce some pretty poor wrestlers. Warrior being a great example of a good character but not a great in ring guy, also a nightmare to work with judging by the stories of other guys.

Re: What came first?
Again, I have no idea what the right answer is to this, bit which came first:
A wrestler escapes from the Sharpshooter (and wins)
A wrestler escapes from the Million Dollar Dream (and wins)
A wrestler kicks out of Sweet Chin Music and wins
I'm thinking about singles matches here....

Re: What came first?
I would say Milliion Dollar Dream. Firstly because Dibiase was essentially a different generation from both Shawn and Bret, and secondly because he was mainly a heel, and heel's submission moves were often escaped. I would imagine Hogan and or Warrior escaped the Million Dollar Dream. Possibly Randy Savage at WM 4 also.

Re: [No title]
I'd guess quite a few people kicked out of Michael's superkick before his face turn in 96, for the early part of his career it was used as a signature rather than finishing move. Am I right in thinking it was only after his face turn that it was re-branded 'sweet chin music' and sold as a finisher?

Re: What came first?
I think I remember Michaels using the Sweet Chin Music at Wrestlemania 11 against Diesel, I think he first used Sweet Chin Music as a finisher in 1994.
