Shane Williams George North!
Both players played very well both scored trys for Wales...But these are just warm up games.
So would you play both players next week. or would you rest one or both players and play some one else in their place?
Discuss.

With Stoddart out injured now, we need to get a look at other players who can cover the wing. We need to start Brew next week I think. Which one he replaces though...not sure. Probably north as shane needs game time.

With Stoddart out and Halfpenny still injured (hoping to be back for Argentina)
We can either play them both again (both are in need of gametime if they are to be 1st choice)
Or if Gats is considering taking Brew then he needs gametime (but if he isnt in the plans then there is NO point in giving him another cap now)
Personally, I dont thing Gats will take Brew, and he has never impressed me at international level.

Re: Shane Williams George North!
Play em both, get some confidence and momentum going - they both play on Saturday Wales will beat England.
I don't see how anything else will do them or Wales any favours.
Shane is looking like the gamebreaker he was in his pomp and little George will be a monster when he grows up!

Id wrap shane up in cotton wool and give Brew a look next week. Stoddart is a real blow as I think he was certain to be on the plane.

Re: Shane Williams George North!
brew deserves another shot after his form this year, i know he hasnt stepped up in the past but on elast look then if he doesnt cut it bomb him out, id rather go at argies with our strongest available 15 with a thumping win (hopefully)

I doubt Shane Will be rested, he wants the world try scoring record so he needs to play all the games he can.

I inderstand where your coming from, but like o, said these are warm up games for the RWC.
Surley shane would rather get the record in the RWC than a warm up game for the RWC.

I think they'll start with Brew and Halfpenny starting against Argentina. Halfpenny could be involved in the game though as full back cover.

Halfpenny is out, he has said he is hopeful to be fit for the Argentina game, but its touch and go.

Re: Shane Williams George North!
I would go with Brew and North, Shane can have some more game time off the bench against Argentina.
Is a shame about Stods, I can see the 14 backs now being Phillips, Knoyle, Lloyd Williams, Steve Jones, Hook, Priestland, Roberts, JD, Scott Williams, Shane, Halfpenny, North, Byrne with the final choice being between Henson or Brew.
Personally I would go for a 17/13 split and take an extra back rower.
