Transfer Pendings
First topic message reminder :
Open Monday - Wednesday. Three offers per team, per day.
1st TP window is from the morning up until 12pm.The second allows for offers from 12pm until 6pm
You can only counter offer another teams offer up until the point I have responded to the offer. I will not respond to any offers until the window is closed. if someone makes an offer just before the close of the window, the window for this player is extended by 1 hour from the point of the last offer.
ALL TP's must be in the following format:
TP: (i.e. the number of the TP from you daily allowance, 1,2 or 3)
Player: (i.e. RVP aka the best striker in the land)
Team: (i.e. Arsenal aka the best team in the land)
Offer: (i.e. £35M)
Reason: (i.e. reason they would join)
TPs not in the correct format or outside the window will be ignored.
You cannot make a bid unless you already have the cash to complete the deal you must have the funds already, or have guaranteed funds arriving, to be able to finance the deal. (i.e. you cannot bid and then after bidding try to raise the funds by offering your players for sale).
If you cannot reach an agreement with the selling club within 3 negotiations the selling club will pull out of the deal.
You have 24 hours (from the moment your offer was accepted) to confirm the transfer. If you do not complete the deal in 24 hours you will have to make a new enquiry to sign the player and other clubs will once again be able to bid on him.
Players who have left the league through lawyers:

Strings,
Chivu - Accepts your offer and cant wait to hear the roar of the Anfield crowd.
Llorente - Closer but your offer still falls short of Bilbao's asking price. They are loathe to let go of their Basque stars.

How much would Bilbao want, and would they be interested in loaning any of my players as part of the deal?

Re: Transfer Pendings
Lads I won't be on much tomorrow so instead of tomorrow TPs will be open Thursday.
And players from season 2 lawyers will be made available, no TPs tomorrow only negotiations spilling over from today.

Re: Transfer Pendings
I believe the price previously quoted was £25M and they are not interested in loans but may be interested in part ex if any of your players have actually been linked to them in real life.

Re: Transfer Pendings
Buffon - He has had other interest in the past couple of years, even when he lost his place in the side and he has always stayed at Juve. He thanks you for your interest, but expresses his desire to stay with Juve.
Lloris - Lloris is excited by the prospect of playing for the champions of the Furious League. Lyon are prepared to sell, but would need more money and above market value to sell their first choice keeper to a CL rival.
Lavezzi - El Pocho is interested in the move. Napoli are prepared to sell, but like Lyon with Lloris, they would need above market value to sell to a CL rival. THis current offer is well below that.

Re: Transfer Pendings
TP: 2
Player: Ronaldinho
Team: Flamengo
Offer: £8 mil
Reason: A last hurrah for the former world great in the one league he never joined.
(There were strong rumours he was on his way to Blackburn over the summer so this isn't too silly an offer!)
TP: 3
Player: David Beckham
Team: LA Galaxy
Offer: £2m
Reason: Return to the Premiership would hugely attract Beckham, £2m for a player whose contract runs out in 2 months should be enough of an incentive.

Re: Transfer Pendings
Lloris you can confirm
Lavezzi is too low still. His market value on the market value website is more than £20m and Napoli asked for €31m from Zenit
http://www.espnstar.com/football/serie-a/news/detail/item667792/Zenit-put-off-by-Lavezzi-price-tag/
You will need to pay £25m to bag him

I do think we are slightly over-paying for Ezequil Lavezzi, but he is a classy player so I'm going to offer Napoli the £25M.

Player name: Stuart Downing
From: Valencia
To: Stoke
Fee: £16m
We would like to bring Downing back to England, we know that to keep his place in the first 11 England for Euro 2012 it would be better for him to play in England where Capello can monitor him easier and he will have more exposure to the England staff. We would of course offer him first team Football with former teammate Ashley Young, both would play in a similar style they do for England. He would help us in our quest to dominate Europe as we are playing thier next season.

Re: Transfer Pendings
TP1
Lucas Leiva
£9.5M
Porto
We cannot lie to Lucas and tell him he will play 100% of our games. But he will see his fair share of football for Everton. That will come from covering M'Vila when injured in the league matches, sometimes partnering M'Vila and sometimes making appearances from the bench. He will start all cup games in season 5 and will also play a big part in Europe. Lucas needs to make the choice who he wants to join, Everton offer the chance to win trophies, the chance to play in the CL and the chance to test himself against the best players in Europe.

Xherdan Shaqiri
£9.5M
Fenerbache
Shaqiri is a top young talent that we at Everton have been tracking for a while now. We have just sold Douglas Costa and Podolski to make space for him in our squad. He will start all cup games guranteed and we hope he can improve to become a league and CL starter to. Fenerbache are a club in turmoil after the recent match fixing scandals, they were kicked out of the CL and I don't think the young swiss player will want them staining his reputation.

Player name: Dimitar Berbatov
From: Man Utd
To: Stoke
Fee: Season loan £4m and an option to buy at the end of the season
I am a Man Utd fan and everyone who knows me knows I love Berbatov, when people critisize him I am the first to defend him. Brilliant player,a genius I sometimes feel he is too advanced for some of the United players. So after all that we would like to sign him on loan for the season, give him the oppurtunties he is not getting at Man Utd. Playing in a competetive league and also in Europe. He will link up with some top class players.

Re: Transfer Pendings
TP: 1
Player: Leighton Baines
Team: Arsenal
Offer: £6m loan
Reason: At Arsenal, they have Santos, Baines and Gibbs. Whilst Gibbs would be happy to be back-up neither Santos nor Baines would be. We do not think Arsenal will want to sell either of them, so to solve this quandry we offer to take one of them on loan, giving them back their outlay on Santos in the process. We will have Baines for the season allowing Arsenal to give Santos a chance. If he doesn't make the grade, they will have Baines to bring back in at the end of his loan.
TP: 2
Player: Andre Santos
Team: Arsenal
Offer: £6m loan
Reason: As per the above, but should they wish to keep Baines, then we offer the opportunity to take Santos on loan instead and for him to get guaranteed first team football with us allowing Arsenal to monitor how he gets on in the English game. If he flops, they still have Baines, if he is successful, or Baines moves to a bigger club,l then he could come back into their first team.
TP: 3
Player: Xherdan Shaqiri
Team: Fenerbahce
Fee: £11m
Reason: Unlike some of our rivals, and injuries allowing, we can guarantee first team football in all forms of the competition. Fenerbahce are at the centre of a match fixing scandal and face the threat of relegation. A move to England would offer Shaqiri a bigger stage and a stable environment to showcase his considerable talents.

Re: Transfer Pendings
I do have a £12m offer for Quagliarella from lawyers and I also have £2m from my sponsors because I drew with Aston Villa on last game of the season but have not added it yet.
If Downing was allowed to join I could sell Quag and have the money.

Re: Transfer Pendings
Sorry Viva, you need to sell Quag to raise the cash. I will refer you to the rules
"You cannot make a bid unless you already have the cash to complete the deal (i.e. you cannot bid for a player then expect to go and raise the cash after your bid has been accepted)"
This rule has been in place for some time. P.s. I'm not picking on you I checked Afros and Tranqs to and I obviously know my own budget. You can add the £2M for Villa though as that result was announced? :S

Reason: I don't think Man United would want to loan their striker out but we can offer a permanent transfer. The club don't use him, he's made one appearance all season and that was off the bench for a short period of time. With his Spurs connections he'd love a return to the club.

Why have we got that rule. It is not very realistic. It should read that you must have the funds already, or have guaranteed funds arriving, to be able to finance the deal.
It is commonplace for teams IRL to not sell until they have the replacement lined up.

I add, can we change it please as it stops competitive TPs as well. It will restrict people making transfers.
I would say that his evidence of the lawyers offer for Quag (or in a similar situation) should be sufficient to show he can fund the deal. That should be the rule.

It could also be an either or situation. He may not sign Berbatov, if he signs Downing, but if he doesn't get Downing, he has the Berbatov deal to fall back on. If he wasn't allowed to do both, he could lose Downing because it is rejected and then not be able to get Berbatov because he went in the previous window.
The current rule doesn't work. it stops frivalous bidding, but doesn't allow for legitimate bidding.

Strings,
Simao – £8M is a deal
Hero,
Ronaldinho – Don’t think he would leave Brazil
Beckham - £4M to cover mega high wages
OTW,
Baines – Arsenal no longer interested in Monreal as they have Gibbs, Santos and Baines at LB. Would prefer to sell for cash.
Berbatov – Man Utd are interested to sell but it would take a higher bid. Berba would normally be looking for Europe but he has a strong relationship with Spurs and would consider a move back to them.
Tranq,
Friedal – Deal
Viva,
Downing – A key player for Valencia who have lost Mata and Hernandez. It would take a larger offer to bring him to Furious league.
Berbatov – Man Utd not interested in a loan and would prefer to sell
Tranq,
Lucas – £12.5M is a deal
Milner – Started 2 and came off the bench in 1 of Man Citys 4 EPL games this season. He would not be interested in the move.
Smarts,
Lucas – Outbidded
Shaqiri - Outbidded
Afro,
Baines – Would prefer to sell for cash.

Re: Transfer Pendings

We have come back with an improved bid of £20m for Downing. That is an £8m profit on a player who is happy to leave and give Valencia the money they need to buy a player soon.
