Fan, yes good, caught up with a mate on friday night and went our sat too.

How shall we pick the first Euro teams? I was thinking of using the official club rankings, just going down the list and boom

Yeah, IMO Nick. In my case, I quite often have a shortlist of players that I am considering, but I don't want to necessarily buy them all as soon as I think of them. If someone else makes an offer, then I would want the ability to at least be able to try and sign that player.

It's a bit like Rooney to United. General theory was that SAF wanted to wait another year before signing him, but Newcastle made a bid and United had to act so not to lose the player.

They do have good squads so maybe a bit high?

Ok their rich IRL but there squad were harley finished in the sunner, Man City got money and took 2/3 transfer windows to have the squad they do. Id say give them £25m, what ppl think???

I moved out when I was 18 was at catering school from 16 to 20 so not alot I cant do

and TP rules look fine - there will be loopholes and bickering at some point, but they look okay to me.

Nick - Once you are happy with the budgets, shall I draw teams to managers?

Thought a two stage process:
Assign you, me and CF to a league each, and then to a team in that league.
Randomly draw the rest of the managers to the rest of the teams.

instead of pm'ing why not make the list of clubs on the frontpage and then the name of the manager next to them so everyone can see?

Think we would do that as well CF, but PM allows us to also notify the manager in case they don't come online - they will get an email.

no no Afro, Id like teams in league's, fixture list done. Then Euro teams picked and Fixture list for that done.
HUmm, could be worth doing an overall Time Line, EG:
Gameweek 1: League match
Midweek: Dom Cup
Gameweek 2: League match
Midweek: Euro Comp's
and so on just so people can keep a track off ONE page.

OK, although the sooner you assign teams, the sooner all the links will start coming in. If we draw the teams, then managers can get their pages set-up whilst we set the rest of the pages up

Then we know where each Euro Comp fixture will be and can draw all fixtures.

Double check before I do:

Champions Cup - mini league of 3 (3 x Champions), play each other once, top 2 in final (4 matchdays)
Europa Cup - 2 x min leagues of 3 (3 league runners-ups, 3 x domestic cup winners), play each other once, winners of 2 mini-leagues play in the final (4 matchdays)
Domestic Cup - prelim (2 legs), SF (2 legs), Final (1 leg) (5 matchdays)

Well I appreciate the effort Hero, think it could be best as remember how the homepage on the old furious league was, Click on the sticky and it too you to an article with links we had put in using tables and that + you can comment.

So people can talk in each league or on this homepage. Ill be setting this homepage up with a table and link too. Se you can navigate where you need to from here, there and everywhere lol.

Well with cups could do idea:

CL - top 2 = 6 teams = league format, play once, top Two in Final end of season. = 4 gameweeks + final
Europa - 3rd and 4th teams in the league then same format as above.
OR
Do you mini league idea...sort of with 1st and 2nd going into CL mini League with top two in a final.
Same for Europa
Dom Cup - Sounds fine.

Nick - we have time to set-up the European stuff after the league has started don't we as surely there aren't going to be European games in season 1 (noone has qualified yet)

Don't mind either way Nick, I just thought with the different sections it'd make it easier to get around for the users.

CL - 1st and 2nd
Europa - 3rd and 4th
Both Euro Comps will be 6 team in one league. Play each other once and then top 2 go into Final. So total 5 matchdays + 1 Final.
