Q&A with Evander Holyfield
Evening guys
With regard to the Antonio Tarver Q&A we are still trying to iron out a few issues in how it will be conducted, so we are going to have to hold fire on that one for a bit.
There is however a chance of securing a Q&A with Evander Holyfield, whom I have had some dialogue with on Twitter, so could you all please give me some questions that you would like to ask Evander.
These Q&A's are very much 'possibles' at the moment, but I need to get your questions ready in case we do get given the go ahead.
Thanks very much, fire away...

When do you plan on retiring?
Is it before or after you suffer permanent cerebral damage?

Do you feel people unfairly associate yours and Tysons name with the famous ear biting incident, rather than the beating you gave him first time round in a masterclass?
(lets just hope tysonking doesn't see this as he may have a fit)

Deep deep down, regarding the first Lewis fight. Can you honestly say that was a draw?

Have you ever spoken to Mike Tyson again since you appeared on Oprah Winfrey in 2009, and were reunited for the first time since you're second fight in 1997?

How do you think the Vitali and Wladimir of today, would have fared against the Tyson, Bowe and Lewis of the 90's?

Re: Q&A with Evander Holyfield
Having fought both Lewis and Bowe, I would be interested to hear his take on each, and who he felt was better or would have won had Bowe not opted to be stripped?
Also regarding himself, when does he view his own peak as having took place and did he feel he was at his best for the Lewis fights? Had they met several years prior in the early or mid 1990s does he feel the outcome would have been different?
Lastly, how does he view the current state of the heavyweight division and does he think its as bad as is commonly portrayed, having faced the likes of Ibragimov, Ruiz and Valuez who were title holders during the period.

Re: Q&A with Evander Holyfield
According to your autobiography 'Becoming Holyfield' you wrote that after he beat you, you advised Riddick Bowe that as Heavyweight champion he shouldn't have fought for anything less than $15 million per fight, which in turn (it seems) proved a stumbling block between a potential fight with him and Lennox. As we sadly never saw them fight, do you now regret giving that advice when you look back?
I've read that Tim Hallmark had you enrol in ballet lessons as part of your training. Do you feel that it was really advantageous to you, or would you have been just as successful without them? And would you suggest it to any other fighters?
The 1984 US Olympic team you were part of was probably the best of all time. Looking at those fighters, who did you feel would be the most successful, and were you right in your prediction?

I scared him off didn't I? He looked in the mirror and thought "Poopie, I do look like an otter don't I?"

Anyway, onto Evander and fantastic by the way.
Which heavyweight in history would you most want to test you mettle against?
What is your favourite fight to watch not involving yourself?

So, God, hot or not?
Don't, don't you want me? You know I don't believe you when you say that you don't need me!
Which of your kids is best looking from 500 feet away?
Have you ever seen one of these before?

Do you feel you should have shaved your head before it became clear you were eventually going to go bald anyway?

Keep them coming guys, and keep them sensible you unruly rabble! Hoping to send them off to him tonight, and then fingers crossed he gets back to us.
Re: Q&A with Evander Holyfield
Owing to the number of quality fighters that Evander has fought, I will add in a small section at the end with the usual:
Hardest hitter:
Fastest hands:
Best chin:
Most elusive:
etc etc, it will be interesting to get his views on these.

Seems that we have enough questions now, don't want to overdo it. Thanks to those that contributed.

I know its closed but only just saw this.
Would he have beaten David Haye at Cruiserweight when both at their prime.

Re: Q&A with Evander Holyfield
Too late mate, sent it off an hour or so ago, apologies! I'd imagine his answer would have been yes
