First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Stephen Jones photo on the bar. That's a banning offence

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Just sitting at home lamenting the loss of the Rock Star, I was flicking through sky this morn.g and Guns 'n' Roses were on and even though he's an absolute aorsehole (but I suppose you have to be to be a rock star) Axl Rose is the last true rock star the world has had.

Hughie,TOL doesn't kick the same amount of ball as the rest of out scrum halfs.

Hughie, his stats would indicate that he kicks as much or less than all the others. His are just poorly executed. Our only good box kicker is Murray.

Bore da pawb/Good morning all.

I've had the laziest morning, it's been amazing. Just going to do some chores now before popping out to by the cider for all the rugby. Nerves starting to build slowly for it now.

Sounds rough Mick - keep drinking, but non-alcoholic.

Why are blind people allowed to drive cars on the road in Britain?

Just been out unknitting a traffic jam because an idiot cannot read the give way / priority to traffic coming from the other direction sign. Meanwhile a car stops outside our gate - because the cars in fornyt of him have stopped and then more idots from behind decide to overtake him Doh .

Good aft all. Waiting in Killester for me Norn Iron lover Rava to pick me up. Meeting up with Ulster, Munster and Leinster regs for a few pre-match bevs, then off to watch the game in Cassidys. Nice.

The French are going DOWN today. 15 pts spread min.

Believe.

Chef, sent you an email mon chere. I was away in the wilds of Donegal for a few days. They dont have the inerteweb there. But some stunning scenery. Stayed in a thatched-cottage with its own cove and got in for a swim. I got a clap from the locals it was that cold. Its beautiful there, but nearest pub was 5 miles away. Malin Head - the furthest place North in Ireland. Lots of in-cottage drinking, eating, hill-walking and meditating was had. Feel renewed. zen

Willy,
I agree that Leamy (who has not been near half his best of late) may make it for cover alone. But if Jenno plays as well as he has been with SOB and Heaslip in tow... Kidney would have to give him a damn good reason for omitting him. He said places were up for grabs based on performance. I hope de Cute Hoor is not a liar. Just sayin. guinness

Want to see 1F show us he's back as well. Would be a huge bonus if he does and comes through today unscathed. Key player for our chances in NZ.

Hoi Cari, Kiwi, Glas. Was a sunny day in ol Dubh Linn but clouding over now. Rav is bringing that Norn Iron rain down with him.

Glas, question. I saw yellow sheep on the hills when out walking. Thought I was tripping. WTF is that all about? So the farmer can spot them in the dark in remote places? Is that their colour after dowsing or are they growing wool for ASM? ? Was one of the weirdest sights Ive ever seen. I will put it on Faceache when I get back.

Howya Gibson guinness I saw something on TV once about a farmer who sprayed his sheep in red so he could identify which were his and to stop them getting pinched.

Hughie - haven't you got Sky at home? That might be your best bet?
