The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Stephen Jones photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Yup yup.
My former partner used that phrase a lot, it got on my nerves. If I'd have known what it meant I'd have flipped with her.

Glas that's filthy.
Notch from the previous pub you should know by now almost everything I say is sarcastic. Highest form of wit.
How was the Ireland v westies game. Strikes me that Paddy's 4 from 6 conversions is better than what he usually gets for us.
CBB on now!

4 from 7, he missed a penalty from the halfway line. I don't know I didn't see it. Sounds like Ireland ran away with it in the last quarter- Connacht industrious but no cutting edge. Will have to wait for the highlights.
McFadden, Murphy and Murray were all obviously playing their hearts out to get on that plane. Their names were mentioned a lot.

ha, most probably! Doesn't help if mutations have been used either, coz even the dictionary is useless then. It confuses me greatly too sometimes.

Diolch Glas.
Gach wasn't coming up as a word and neither was Cach (that is only part of a word!), although it did in the end mean what I thought
Anyhoo I'm off to watch Torchwood properly

Yep. We were talking about it earlier. Ronan played 7 tonight and Jennings looks all set to be in the 22. Gutted for Wallace. Hope he makes it back sooner rather than later. He hasn't had any rugby before the squad is announced if he does sit this one out.

Yeah i am gutted for Wallace. If he doesnt make it do you think we will see Ferris, SOB and Heaslip from the start or will Jennings parachute straight in?

Yes, it's nowhere near as poetic. Much is lost in translation.
It is a maxim for life however - the way you 'move' says a lot about your health.

I don't think they'll want to take any risks with Ferris. I think he'll get 30 mins max.

Gibbo,we ain't called the Rebel county for nothing biy! Tom Barry was one of the key guys in getting the British out of Ireland. Apparently his guerilla warfare tactics were used by Middle Eastern countries in later conflicts.

George Hook was talking about Wallace on Saturday evening. Hinting that if he didn't feature for this match there was an unknown problem. Perhaps this is an underlying strain that he's aggrevated. I've always had a feeling Hook knows more than he let's on.

Now it wouldn't be hard to know more than what he appears to. Blind pigs... acorns...
I believe this is a new problem.

I'm sure they are nice lads at heart, but it does seem to all intents and purposes that it would be hard to be stuck in an elevator with them to be fair.

Evening all
MrsP - if you are still around can you say what are the consequences of having an achilles tendon removed? A friend of mine has just had this done today ...
It's a long story and I won't bore you, but just wondering will she have to re-learn how to walk?
