What is your fave Bond Film? (Pick 3)
The name is Bond. James Bond.
What's better than putting your feet up on Boxing day, your belly full of left over turkey, mince pie in hand.
I will tell you what - doing the above whilst watching a Bond movie.
So I thought I would start a poll to see what everyone's favourite Bond Movie is? Is it old school Bond or the more Bourne-esque re-imagining with Mr Daniel in the role?
Lets hear your thoughts and tell us why you like your choices. Also - tell us who you think the best Bond is.
Pick your top 3 from the list please!

Sean Connery will always be Bond for me so i was tempted to go with 3 from him but i've gone for Dr No and Goldfinger , and i did like Casino Royale with Daniel Craig .

Re: The name is Bond. James Bond.
Went for two Connery films, my first choice was Thunderball. The former as it inspired some very good films that would follow it outside the Bond universe plus it introduced the Bell Rocket Belt to the masses. I also have a soft spot for the remake due to Max Von Sydow playing Blofeld in that incarnation.
My second choice was Goldfinger as its possibly the most rounded and strong cast of Bond villians and girls there's yet been, from Cat Galore to the Masterson sisters chuck in Oddjob along with the enigmatic Goldfinger himself. Couple that with a strong story and good action sequences you have a very strong film and that before you even add in the infamous "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die!" line.
My last choice was Goldeneye as for me it brought the Bond franchise back to life after nearly 25yrs of just ticking along. Pierce fit the role of what Bond should be and it had Sean Bean perform one of his many on screen deaths, that man doesn't have much luck staying alive on film or in games. It also was responsible for giving us the best video game from a film yet, while it was a very solid and in some parts great experience just on a single player level its when it went multiplayer that its true worth was found. I can only think of one better shooter to date that rivals Goldeneye as a multiplayer game and thats Counter Strike.
Well thats my choices and a decent part of the reasons for those selections. I will say though I feel sorry for Timothy Dalton who is otherwise a very good actor but was terribly miscast as Bond, can't blame him though for taking the role was a career maker.

I picked Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace as my top two as I love how the story continues throughout Craig's stint. My 3rd choice is GoldenEye, brilliant film, my favourite action film growing up.

Re: The name is Bond. James Bond.
I went for Licence to Kill as this was/ should have been the real reboot and is very similar in style to Craigs Bond.
Dalton was an excellent Bond and is severely under rated.
The other two I went for were Live and Let Die (Jane Seymour is stunning in this and I love the Voodoo scenes in the jungle. As well as the boat chase.
Also went for The Spy who Loved Me. Not sure why but I just think its a class outing for Bond.

I picked Goldfinger, Goldeneye and Licence to Kill.
The first two because Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan are my two favourite incarnations of Bond (Connery edges it - just) and these are their best films in the role and Licence to Kill because much like Hobo I feel that Dalton was very under rated as Bond and his version was probably truest to the Fleming books.

If you went for "licence to Kill" as well, why does i have 1 vote Think you picked Living Daylights by accident!
Dalton is one of my fave actors and was a great Bond. And Carey Lowell from TLD was smoking hot.

Me too. Dalton's my favourite Bond ever. I went for The Living Daylights (cracking theme tune too), Goldeneye and A View to A Kill (also a great song).
I think in the 80s, technology and special effects had just started to catch up to give Bond some really good gadgets and make the films really spectacular. For me Tim was also the perfect mix of gentleman and spy. Sensitive and tough in just the right measures.
Brosnan, though good, always seemed a bit Americanised to me (maybe thanks to his previous career?) and more of a skirt chaser than a spy. Daniel Craig is also good, but to me has taken Bond the other way and is too much the action hero.
As to the others, Roger Moore was too much the skirt chaser (worse than Brosnan). Sean Connery - nothing obviously wrong with him (apart from the accent) but just didn't seem right for the role IMO.

Went for Living Daylights because despite what most people seem to think I think TD made a cracking Bond. And Goldeneye because its my favourite. Never liked Moore, thought he was a terrible bond tbh

Have to go with Dr. No. 'Twas from thence the whole genre sprang, as did great spoofs from Get Smart to Archer.

Gold Finger I love it
I love the battle at the end and the safe door opens, crushing the Asian guy against the railing, it's so morbid.

I went for 3 Moore ones, he was always my fave Bond, I know that's wrong but I just found the proper suave but rather camp Bond the most entertaining to watch.
Re: The name is Bond. James Bond.

Re: The name is Bond. James Bond.
Have to say that for me the poorest of the serious Bond films (i.e. not the later Roger Moore ones) was Quantum of Solace - I just can't stand the jumpy camera work, and it really detracts from the action. It's a shame because I liked Casino Royale (although the poker scenes are too long and drawn out, and will look incredibly dated in a few years once the Texas Hold 'em boom dies), and Eva Green is rather hot (did anyone find that 'drool' emoticon?).
Always thought Connery set the standard for Bond's character - suave, dangerous and with a cuttingly dry wit. Dalton and Brosnan came close, although neither seemed to have quite the dangerous edge, while Craig has yet to strike the balance with the suaveness and the cutting comments.
Roger Moore? Don't get me started.
