Best boxing websites
I am toying with Idea of starting my own boxing webiste. I have some ideas that it think may give it a little different dynamic. I have my blog (for those of you that dont know) www.maineventboxing.wordpress.com but think a site would be better in the long run for various reasons.
So. As i know we have a great cross section of boxing fans here i ask. What are the best sites online and why?
So for me we have
606v2 . Great posters, good banter, generally pretty unbiased
boxingscene. Good up to date stories on the sport which is garnered from various sources (but dont like the foruma t all, some genuine fools on there)
East side Boxing is the full package, forum, links to left hook lounge,on the ropes boxing radio is great. good site
but there are not many others that i visit and none regularly
What about you guys?
Also who might be interested in contributing articles????????

SweetScience is miles ahead of anywhere for quality reporting IMO.

Ring TV for me. A bit biased towards American (particularly ethnic American) fighters but usually tells it how it is. Too much crap on the site though. Crashes my computer at work.

I prefer Boxingscene, yeah the site looks a little dated but for up to date stories it's very good!
Also, they need to change the boxers they have at the top of their page!

Far from it Sir.
For me BBC Sport used to be the best presented and most user friendly site, albeit threadbare on all news other than football. It is now overloaded with video which makes it less user friendly, particularly at work.

Missus works for a top internet provider heading up video. Always trying to get me to write stuff (for free) for them - I'm not always a buffoon. Anyway, they haven't got a boxing section as the sports guy deemed MMA to be more yoof..... I will show her your blog and see if she'll send it to the sports guy. (if you wanted me to)

Re: Best boxing websites
For old timers Cox's Corner is excellent and the Cyber Boxing Zone is quality. The IBRO is also excellent, some well written pieces off there and their rankings are good IMO, also there are links to members sits many of which are worth a look, as there are sites to buy memorabillia as well as the normal historical sites.
