Bellamy back to Liverpool ?
Reports suggest Man City are to let Craig Bellamy leave on a free transfer , and that Liverpool are keen on re-signing him .
What do you think ?

Re: Bellamy back to Liverpool ?
Seems a good signing for Liverpool, fair enough he won't play a whole season, but you wouldn't have him as a starter you have Carroll/Suarez and Downing, but he will add good strength in depth for you and give you options.
I'd like Arsenal to take a punt on him, as we all know RVP won't last the season, we have a off form Chamack and ... covering, Bellamy wouldn't cost much is a good player and could make an impact off the bench as well.

If it is a free transfer then i think quite a few clubs would be interested in him , Arsenal could be a good fit for Bellamy not sure he is a Wenger player though .
Hope his season under Rafa doesn't put him coming back to Liverpool .

Thats the problem - there's quite a few good players out there going cheap but they don't seem to be Wengers type of player - It would be good to get Diarra back (even after his problems the 1st time) from Real as well.
Bellamy would be good for either team - and after Spurs siging Ade I'm quite worried about them having a strong season this season.

Spurs should be stronger this season even if Modric goes , Wenger really needs to have a rethink on transfers imo you cant just keep buying youngsters you need experience aswell Bellamy, Parker . He has bid 6 million for Cahill ? why does he keep bidding so low hes never going to get players at those prices .

Re: Bellamy back to Liverpool ?
I think Bellamy on a free would be a pretty decent signing, we need someone with experience who might not be a regular starter but can be back up for Carroll, Suarez or Kuyt if they get injured/suspended/need a rest and can also come off the bench to grab a goal.
Word is that Bellamy would be quite happy to return to Liverpool and that he was a pretty popular figure in the dressing room, in spite of his run-in with John-Arne Riise.

Do you place Kuyt ahead of Bellers in the starting line up?
Kuyt is good but very workman like. Bellers is explosive.

Re: Bellamy back to Liverpool ?
Bellamy is nowhere near as good as Kuyt. In his prime maybe.
I think the telltale sign here is that Liverpool AND Man City agree that he's worth nothing.
He's a great back-up though, much needed for Liverpool.

I couldn't see Bellamy getting in the team on a regular basis ahead of Carroll, Suarez or Kuyt. I think if he were to sign he'd be used primarily as an impact player off the bench. Kuyt's commitment and work-rate is too important not to have in the team IMO, not saying that Bellamy doesn't work hard but he's no Kuyt in that department.

I think he would be brought in as purely cover , he would be a decent option off the bench .

I think Bellamy would be an ideal bench player. the type of player who you can bring on and change the game for you when things are not going your way.

Re: Bellamy back to Liverpool ?
I think as a back-up signing he would be very good, it was only recently when I realised our only real back-up striker was David N'Gog that I really started to get worried, I hope we can tie this signing up quickly before another team snatches him up.

Not a bad player to bring on to change the game around 1-0 down to be fair. Can play him out wide or upfront. Think Liverpool are shaping up nicely.... As much as it pains me to say.
