Finish the sentence - "How gutting would it be....."
....If Scotland beat England and Argentina to top the group but New Zealand lost to France in the group stages.
Anyone else get some worries that they want to get off their chest (no matter how ridiculous )

For your team to lose to the Barbarians, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Wales, Scotland, England and France in a single year, losing their last 4 games in a row and failing to score a try in 3 of their last 4 games as well as losing a few top players to serious injury along the way.

Lucky all of the locals have been priced out of Mt Eden, the only locals largely don't speak English and can't tell the difference between rugby and cricket.

Very very good point. Such a shame. Whats the general opinion? Do you guys think he'll retire now?

...If a giant Earthquake struck Auckland with 10 minutes on the clock in the final with NZ ahead by 20 points.
I'm sure GW and nottins would still call it "choking" though.

Flanker - the optimist in me says he'll be out for a while, return for Munster and at best play in next years Six Nations, but sadly I think it's unlikely. He may return for Munster if we're lucky.

He probably would initiate said swallow dive with England behind by 3 to NZ in the final and time up. The look on his face when he realises he put too much effort into the dive and won't be able to ground the ball before the dead-ball line will be priceless.

If, in the last play of the day in the RWC Final with ABs behind by 4, Carter slots one to McCaw 1 metre out and McCaw goes over; Wayne Barnes calls the TMO to ask try or no try; upon TMO stating try may be awarded, Barnes asks "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" "Did you see any AB do anything wrong?"; TMO say "Not really but he did see McCaw poke Cooper in the ear 3 rucks ago; Barnes rules a penalty to OZ.
Gutting?
Not really.

Congratulations on slightly rewording a joke.
How gutting would it be if Madge got off his armchair and went to a game? Pretty gutting for the people he's sat by anyway. Still, no danger.

C'mon Seabiscuit, I wouldn't need English grandparents to be selected! I've been here for 10 years, giving me 9 years 364 days and 1435 minutes to spare on my qualification via residency!

This isn't a wind up it's a genuine question. Is there a NH ref you actually don't mind?
