Berto-Zaveck. Why?
So Berto loses his WW title - and yet, without beating a single opponent to put himself back in the frame - has another shot at the crown - this time the IBF portion and its titlist Jan Zaveck.
Haven't seen too much of Zaveck - and given that DiBella seems to have made the fight I'm presuming an easy night's work for Andre.
Who wins and why?

Re: Berto-Zaveck. Why?
well on my very good and informative prediction vids titeled: the who and the how.
I outline what i think will occur
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAq0f_VXRnk
however n short.
Berto pts, Dont see Zaveck being able to ko him, i think Zaveck will give him hell boxing wise for large periods but if it is close ou know it goes to Berto on a HBO card in the states.

Re: Berto-Zaveck. Why?
HBO and DiBella obviously feel they need Berto as a titlist and put him the frame for big fights.
I'd still like to see him fight Sugar Shane even though Shane is well past his best. They were supposed to meet last year but the Haiti disaster understandably forced Berto withdraw.

Madworldofjb, was thinking the very same thing yesterday, would still have an interest in seeing that fight.
Mosley should prob retire after what seemed like a paycheque collection effort against Manny, but you'd expect him to give more of himself against Berto.

I doubt DiBella and Berto have seen much of him either. I think they're just assuming he's the easiest route back to a belt.

It's been rumoured on twitter that Mosley may fight the winner of Cotto vs Margarito.

~ Why sir, why ask why when the same dance is repeated throughout boxing history?
And what did St. Ali do to warrant a rematch with Mr. Spinks, or Mr. Floyd rematching Mr. Ingo?
Perhaps you could explain how Mr. Fields warranted back to back losing title challenges to Mr. Iggy and Valuev and will now challenge Mr. Povetkin?
Re: Berto-Zaveck. Why?
Evander has won fights. We can argue about their validity but he's come through veterans battles with real opponents.
Patterson rematched the guy who had beaten him. Ali rematched the guy who had beaten him. By that selfsame logic Berto must therefore be fighting Ortiz in his next fight.
Pray sir, remind me - it was Mr Ortiz who dethroned Mr Berto in such spectacular style was it not?
This fight is slightly different. If Zaveck's team had chased this fight - and sought out the dehtroned former champion I wouldn't mind so much. However - it is Berto's team, on a HBO card, with a pop-up champion ready to be knocked over and Berto to win a different WW crown.

~ Why sir, if you really believe that Mr. Botha and Mr. Neilson were real boxing opponents and the fight with Mr. Williams in an oldtimers retirement home was a real result(NC), I have the Mother of all Deals of the Century for YOU!
Mr. Vicious is rematching Mr. Berto's management, thus a measure of revenge to be gained IF Mr. Berto's management succeeds in whooping the quit into Mr. Vicious again. This is prize fighting sir, a honorable sport with a dishonorable reputation, so when the Mr. Hayman says to Mr. Goldenboy to come hither sweetly with the nubile Mr. Vicious for some mother's milk of mo'money to be made, deals are made as milk is swapped under the table.

How is it, that even though we have a braveheart smiley - we don't have a tumbleweed smiley, which is what that post from the Perfessor merits.
