Del Boy calls Fury a Plonker
Last Saturday Tyson Fury after he KOed Nascimento, or an unknown Brazilian as Chisora put, called Chisora out saying he had been scared to face him, and he would knock out Dell Boy.
Chisora was not impressed with Fury's fight and said it would be an easy nights work beating him and questioned if Fury really believes the hype that surround him.
Don't have have much time for Chisora but got to agree with him on this one, yeah Chisora is scared of Fury so he goes and fights Wlad.
You Plonker Fury.

You mean "accepted the payday of his life" against Wlad...?
How did Chisora become the no.1 talent? Other than by signing to fight Wlad?

So we can safely assume that it will be Chisora v. Fury for the British title later in the year then.
Provided of course that Derekdoesn't beat Wlad. survives.
Provided of course that Derek

Chisora has at least beat Williams and sexton, both ranked domestic opposition, in convincing fashion.
Fury is a flabby hype job with a flashy name. He doesn't use his height well enough, wastes his reach by not utilising an effective jab and is incredibly poorly conditioned. He got a gift against McDermott first time out and shouldn't still have his '0'. Not saying he doesn't have potential, but he's yet to impress me yet.

Seems like Fury is just making some noise to up / maintain his public profile. Seems like a decent enough chap who comes across as down to earth and honest in his interviews.
Chisora's rebuttal of Fury's remarks was pretty spot on and funny with the plonker line! :-)
Fury needs to look at getting in better shape and step up to the next level of domestic fighters, ala Sexton/Price/Skelton/Sprott, before he thinks about Chisora.

I liked Fury to begin with, but he really is a bit of a clown. Having watched pretty much all of both of their fights I'd say Chisora has mixed it at the higher level and looked better in doing so. Also, he has at least some comprehension of physique, rather than being a bloater who's finished after 6 rounds a la Fury v. McDermott.

i am the only one thinking fury will dispose of chisora provided fury can get his stamina up and take it into the late fights.
granted he hasnt had better quality opponents than chisora, but he has had top notch sparring, someone chisora cant claim,.

i'd have my money on chisora, he seems the stronger of the two and also looks like he can take the better shot.

Re: Del Boy calls Fury a Plonker
Chisora has beaten sexton twice (relatively unproven novice) and an ancient, unfit, unmotivated Danny Williams
Fury has beaten McDermott twice - the second time stopping him in clinical fashion.
Fury still doesn't look fit enough - but he can clearly fight - and I'd argue that 2 over McMuffin amount to slightly more than Williams and Sexton (2) - although it is opinion only.

i dont think a win over, an unfit, and honestly, not very good fighter in McDermott means more than sexton and williams, even at the stage in his career he was in! The second fight agaisnt McDermott was awful!! both looked bad!

We really should write off Williams - he's been a great servant of British boxing - but he was in truly shot condition and had just lost to Carl "THE FRIDGE" Baker.
Big John is quite underrated. McDermott had just come off 2 close-as-you-can-get defeats over a slightly fresher Williams - both of which could have gone the other way. And, unlike Williams - to prove that he still "has" it - he battered Olubamiwo in 1 round at the weekend.
The notion of Fury's opposition being "weak" is a bit tenuous IMO - he beat Zeller VERY early in his pro career - meanwhile, Jonathan Banks, former world title contender at crusier - his management fed HIM Zeller as well - after about 20 fights. Fury has sought some good challenges.
Lets not forget - he was due to fight Botha instead of Nascimento - but the BBBoC felt that Botha wasn't a "good" enough challenge.

The BBBC were correct. Botha has tried a version of MMA and was beaten by Bob Sapp I believe.

What Botha is worse than Nascimento? To compound their stupidity - they suggested McBride. FFS Mcbride hasn't ever done anything! At least Botha is active - recently lost to Holyfield in a veterans matchup.
