Toro Rosso bought

The operation has been brewing since last May, as advanced AS at the time, in a process leading from the next round of the championship. International investment fund PetroleumInvestment Company (IPIC) takes control of Toro Rosso and from the Italian Grand Prix cars from the Faenza team will wear the colors of their companies, among which is the Spanish oil company Cepsa.

The main sponsor of the cars will be the Falcon private bank, with a predominant space to be followed by the presence of Cepsa, completing IPIC involvement with the image of the chemical company Nova Chemicals. With the exception of oil, the other two companies already had IPIC ad space on the cars driven by Sebastien Buemi and Alguersuari as additional sponsors Red Bull.

IPIC aims to give greater international projection to their activities, mainly Cepsa in an expansion project of the oil to other European markets. In this sense it is more than likely to win their colors next season dominance in the Toro Rosso cars, occupying privileged to sponsor the team. A situation that could clearly benefit Alguersuari has even been in contact with Khadem Abdulla Al-Qubaisi, executive director of the fund and the man who has conducted all negotiations with Red Bull.
