Arizona - don't know what's happened. I put in the counter offer and the trade's totally vanished! Post it again?

Re: 606v2 East – NFL.com Fantasy Football Homepage
Damn you Tom for nabbing Colston off waivers!! I had a request in for him too!! Thought he'd finally give me someone worthy of starting at the flex WR/RB position once he was fit again. When I traded with Pr4wn for Amendola I thought I'd found someone, then he goes and dislocates his elbow!
I just can't get rid of Bernard Berrian for love nor money!! Anyone wanna just take him off me???
If this was the real NFL I'd be in the Andrew Luck sweepstakes with my lot!!

Accepted, cheers. Just wait until Monday. Only thing is I had to drop Lions D, but can't complain a lack of value in the deal! It almost feels like the Herschel Walker deal!

Re: 606v2 East – NFL.com Fantasy Football Homepage
Pr4wn - Haha! Yeah you'll be feelin pretty pleased with that trade I imagine! I was more than happy with it at the time too - Amendola gave me the half-decent 3rd WR that I didn't have before the trade.
Grizzly - Yeah, Colston looks like he'll miss a month at least but he might as well have been sitting on my bench doing nothing instead of Berrian cos at least he'd have the promise of doing good things once he was fit again. Berrian is so bad he'll be lucky to score as many points as Colston does while Colston is out with the broken collarbone!!!

Thanks nice doing business . Was i really the only one interested??? Good deal for both of us, i thought the 1st one you offered was a bit harsh on yourself tbh.

Colston will almost definitely be out for longer than 4 weeks with a broken collarbone. Still I agree it's a good stash if you can afford to hold on to him until he returns.
Note to all who might need help at WR: I've got plenty of WR which I could be persuaded to trade, I would prefer to add a RB but will consider other positions as well.

I think your right to hold on Dave
I reckon Peyton might play this season ,might depend on Colts chances though a bit like Romo last year no point in any risks if colts have no play off chances

Q. Do our trades have a mandatory holding period or are they only subject to everyone else's review?

Re: 606v2 East – NFL.com Fantasy Football Homepage
We have a mandatory 2 day trade notice period...
i.e. the trade is accepted but is put up to public review such that people can object to it if for example they believed the trade was totally one sided or two people were colluding with each other...

Its unlikely as the season is already two weeks old... unless you can somehow take over the team that has a non existent owner in the West league! you'd have an awful team though... and I already know that this idea is impossible to achieve.

That would make sense, but my trade with Batman was made Friday - shouldn't it have cleared today? No big issue, I'd just liked to have had the options available for later, though I would probably stick with my current line up for this week anyway.

Not that i think my mob will be involved, i was just wondering if anyone knows how the FF play-offs work?
Looking at the schedule, Weeks 14, 15 and 16 are blank. Is it the top teams in each league + 5 wildcards (8>4>2), or do the top seeds get a first round bye?
Also, i thought the NFL regular season was over 17 weeks now (with a bye)!?!?

17 weeks currently, each team gets 1 bye week. FF playoffs work from week 14. wildcard week, divisional week, conference week and 'SB' in week 17.

That would be cool but I think its only possible within the same league. Logically you'd also face the issue, however remote, where you had 2 teams made up of exactly the same players. You cannot have a SB end in a tie!

We could decide an effective winner by comparing the winning teams from each of the two divisions... record, points for, points against... or even match them up head to head over every prior week to see who came up with the top record!

Just to let everyone know that after an awful start to the season, I've changed my team name from Becks vs Rex to Rexy's Redskins. Still a kack name but the old one wasn't that relevant anymore and I'm hoping a new identity will bring a change in fortune!
Bring on week 3 and the DeAngelo Williams scoring explosion!!

The Play Offs take place over weeks 14, 15 & 16. The best two divisional winners get byes in week 14 and the 3rd to 6th best teams play offs then normal semi finals and final in weeks 15 & 16 respectively.
There isn't anything happening in week 17 in these leagues. If I can remember right the website still shows points upto and including week 17 anyway so we could always compare how the two leagues winners do in week 17 for an overall 606v2 winner?

Sorry Barney - ended up havin second thoughts on the Newton trade I proposed. I doubt you'd have gone for it anyway! Was offering you Boldin but I prob should hang on to him and go with Mr Inconsistent at QB and hope he can find some consistency. Sorry buddy. Like I say though - not sure Boldin on his own would have been enough to tempt you anyway but I thought WR was the only area of your team where it looked like you could use some help given the injury to Brandon Lloyd.

BTW, Skins - I see you laughed off my offer for Nelson - don't blame you! I was just doing a bit of fishing there to be honest - was hoping your Redskins sympathies might make you bite on Armstrong! A desperate move from the GM of a winless team going nowhere!

Re: 606v2 East – NFL.com Fantasy Football Homepage
You need to get up a lot earlier than that to catch me out.
Last week I would have said yes, but after Nelson's performance Sunday and the word that he's getting a rapport going with Fitzpatrick, I think he's a 'project' worth keeping around. Besides, like I said, having too many players from the same team is risky when bye week comes around. Rather leave myself with choices available.

Not really you could have the last 28 this week, the last 14 in week 4, the last 8 in week 10, the last 4 in week 12 and the final in week 13.
The only issue would be that you would have to have a lucky loser from the last 14 to make it up to a last 8.
It’s only an idea to get a bit of rivalry between the two leagues.

Ah it's alright 25. I was thinking about doing it but probably would've decided against it in the end. A running back of similar quality to Boldin would've been a yes I'd say.

I'd be up for Virgil's interleague competition..... not that I'd do the East league much credit though!

Virgil_Caine wrote:Not really you could have the last 28 this week, the last 14 in week 4, the last 8 in week 10, the last 4 in week 12 and the final in week 13.
The only issue would be that you would have to have a lucky loser from the last 14 to make it up to a last 8.
It’s only an idea to get a bit of rivalry between the two leagues.
i guess if its a straight knock-out comp then there's enough weeks
i think its a fun idea if you're willing to put the leg work in
c'mon the East

The lucky loser could be the one with the highest score

Q. Given the state of the league and the preponderance of the passing game, is it worth carrying more than 3 RB's on a fantasy roster, assuming no 2 share a bye week? Beginning to think its worth carrying 6 WR's or 3 TE's than 4 RB's.

Quiet in here! How about a bit of banter? Anyone?
I'll kick off then - Twelve283, expect an ass kicking as my guys get back to normal service. Brady surely can't throw away a game two weeks running?
