Jayawardene averages 34 in England and Australia,27 in NZ and 31 in SA .The only countries outside Asia where he averages over 40 are WI(42) and Zimbabwe(59).Liam_Main wrote:I would say all of the people you mentioned, maybe Jaywardene also.
In other words he is a very average batsman outside the subcontinent.
I think KP is more worthy to be in that list.Only Tendulkar and Lara have played Warne and McGrath better than KP.

Sehwag IMO is a very good player who is brilliant on flat pitches and turning pitches but cant play in swinging/seaming conditions.
He should be nowhere nowhere nowhere near an All Time XI.

What about that World XI which took on England in the unofficial Test Matches in 1970. It included players of the calibre of Barry Richards, Eddie Barlow, Rohan Kanhai, Graeme Pollock, Clive Lloyd, Garry Sobers, Mike Proctor, Lance Gibbs, Peter Pollock, Farook Engineer, Garth McKenzie,Intikhab Alam.
