Breaking News: Everton crowned Furious League champions after 1-0 win against Birmingham

NOTICEBOARD

This week's TPs will be closed on Wednesday, but open on Thursday instead. Lawyers will also stay open for you to accept offers until the close of Thursday.

Players who left the league through season 2 lawyers will become available to buy in TPs from Thursday (15th)

Season 4 - U21 = players born on or after 01/10/1990

New League Squad Limit Rules to be introduced!

From season 4, there will a 25 man league squad limit from which you will be able to select players to play in league games.

These will be the 25 players from which your injuries will be drawn so as to prevent managers from the bigger, richer teams from diluting the risk of their stars picking up injuries.

You will be able to take players in and out of your League 25, but from the point that injuries are drawn that is the 25 that you must select your league team from. Injuries will now be drawn on Wednesdays

Your overall squad can remain larger than 25, but your League eligible 25
must be shown separately. Players outside of the 25 can still play in cup and European competitions.

ROLL OF HONOUR

League Champions

Season 1 - Blackburn (Andy)

Season 2 - Tottenham (Nick)

Season 3 - Everton (Smartest)

Tuesday or Thursday? An which one is he? Describe him, I won't be able to watch it at 5:30 but I know channel 4 has a plus channel.

Does he ever mention you on the show? Does he say "Big up Nicka who loves to blow da dicka"? Does he give a shout out to the Furious League and how corrupt some of the people are. BOOKA BOOKA.

Good team Smarts but I feel Fanni is better then Boswinga and there are better CB then Mexes and I feel Cahill and Dawson are equal to Jaggers.

As a hit man Bent before Aguero any day all day and Young should not be in that team because he plays for me other then that I agree with you boss safeage.

Bosingwa looks like he is back on top form for Chelsea and Bosingwa at his best is the best RB in league. Not seen Rafinha for Bayern but getting good reviews. Not sure Fanni is better than either of them.

Cahill is improving but not as good as Jags, Dawson I think is below the both of them.

Forgot Young plays for you, take him out and replace him with Hazard lol

What??? Are you dizzy Smarts, Young would kill Hazard or Mata or any of these fools. Young would be in this team all day long mate and you know it.

Dawson, Jagielka and Cahill all are same level IMO and very little between them you could argue thier cause but I think we have better CB then them three here.

Taiwo

Jags

Young
De Rossi
Modric
Mata

Aguero
Suarez

Navas has been poor recently, otherwise he would push Young. Bosingwa hasn't been that good for Chelsea IMO. AVB was trying to replace him with that guy from Porto.

Juan Mata is a better player than Ashley Young mind and I believe you will see that once he settles into life at Chavski.

Bosingwa has played 3 scored 1 and assisted 1 that is better than most attacking players lol certainly Chelsea's attacking players.

What are you basing Godins rating on Afro? Last season he made La Ligas flops of the season starting 11.

I'm basing it on that fact that he is in my team and doesn't play in La Liga, but is in the Furious League.

Plus he barely played IRL last season as he was injured for most of it. How can he be a flop?

I rate Jags higher than Cahill and Dawson, but Cahill seems to be ahead in the England CB pecking order. How about Bonucci?

Viva - Andy Carroll + one of Cahill, Bonucci, Godin or Lugano = Ashley Young?

not to be greedy as i already have at least one player recognised in the best team in reina, and probably also aguero, but i would definately say enrique for best LB, the best defensively out of the lot on here, and not exactly a slouch defensively, personally id go for

----------------Reina
Rafinha*--Agger--Cahill--Enrique
----------De Rossi--Modric
Young--------Aguero--------Mata
---------------Suarez

theres not really a standout rb in the league is there, all the others were fairly easy to pick, apart from maybe cb, but thats more of a case of there being quite a few fantastic centre backs in the league

He started 25 La Liga games for Atletico last season Afro.

Bonucci is a decent CB, but he could well be benched this season for Juve with the Barzagli signing. They have brought in a few faces Juve and if Vucinic can get the goals for them they could challenge for the title, Elia, Vidal, Krasic and co are a decent threat. But Serie A is really poor standard atm.

i only put rafinha in because of his move to bayern, there are 3 or 4 all at about the same level, the fact that he is playing for the biggest club (combined with the fact ive never rated bosingwa) pushed it for me, agger just got the nod over a few others because he is a liverpool player and the liverpool team irl is looking like the strongest out of the teams on here, and agger is our best centre back, plus you have the added bonus that he can come forward.

and enrique, im not sure im going to be persuaded by anyone to think differently, the best defensively in the league i reckon (which with the players in front of him is key as hes not going to get any help) and up there in terms of attacking

the signing of him and the return of agger have made our defence irl that much stronger and if agger can stay injury free (which is a big ask) i think we will fairly comfortably make the top 4, possibly challenging chelsea for 3rd

With the new faces and the players we have coming back from suspension and injury I'm still confident Arsenal will get top 4 Tranqs.

Man City
Man Utd
Chelsea
Arsenal

Will be the top 4 for me, in that order with possibly Chelsea overtaking Utd.

honestly, i dont think any of your late signings are gonna do well for you

mertesacker - you've probably brought him a year or two too late, will take time to get used to the league and may be too slow, when partnered with vermy i think youll be alright, but with any others, itll be a disaster waiting to happen

andre santos - was dropped by brazil for being too attacking and not good enough defensively, just think about that, a team whose full backs are now alves and marcelo, 2 of the worst full backs defensively speaking playing at the top level today dropped santos because of his lack of defensive abilities

arteta - done feck all for everton for 2 years, will be ousted by ramsey by the end of the season

benny - i love him as a player, but he not going to match up to nasri, and cant see him ousting walcott or gervinho, i personally prefer him over walcott, but dont think arsene does

Actually no, Young is not for sale unless I get a sick deal for him.

Young is the best winger in thel eague and everyone knows, only because he plays for me you ain't rating him trying to trick me into selling and when you get him his better then Ryan Giggs whatever.

Young is here forever unless I get a true badman deal.

Your all writing Arsenal off from a top 4 finish after 3 games? When was the last time Arsenal finished outside of the top 4? Liverpool are not as good as you guys are making out, they have massively shot themselves in the foot with the sale of Meireles to Chelsea. Their defence is decent but when you go further forward you are basically looking at Saurez and who?

Adam & Henderson are not top 4 quality. Downing & Carroll might not be top 4 quality even though Downing is decent. Will be interesting to see what Bellamy has to offer at 32 as he was not that great for Cardiff last year.
With 35 games to go I think Arsenal will finish above them.

Tranq's is right though. Arteta has not been the same player since his knee injury in Feb 10. Showed occasional glimpses, but that is the reason why Everton, who don't normally let players go cheapily, sold him for £10m

Top 6 for me...

1. Utd (winning it on last day of season)
2. City
3. Chelsea (good few points behind 2nd)
4. Liverpool (not far behind Chelsea)
5. Arsenal (another 5 or 6 points behind)
6. Spurs (few points further back)

I must say I have not seen much of Santos. But Marcelo was excellent last year and has improved massively defensively. Didn't Santos play in the Copa America though?

Sacker I'm a bit worried about when he comes up against pace but will be good against the Stokes and Boltons of the league. I imagine Arteta and Benny to play in the AM role with Ramsey and Song behind them. Arteta will start more if fit and Benny could come on to change a game at LAM or RAM.

People are making a lot of Arsenals start to the season, to be fair against Liverpool until Frimpong was red carded the game was pretty even and Arsenal were missing a few, so much so that 18 year old Miguel had to come on in the 15th minute to play CB in his premier league debut and the confidence was shot with the Fabregas & Nasri sagas.

Wait and see the next few games before writing Arsenal off, hopefully the signings have given the club a boost.

the only way we will have shot ourselves in the foot with meireles is if gerrard returns and crocks himself immediately, then we should worry, but under king kenny, meireles was pushed more out wide and had less bearing on games

our big problem in the last few years has been squad depth, which we dont really have now and arsenal do, your best xi is up there but get a few injuries and suspensions and the weak underbelly of arsenal starts to show

assuming our best XI is

---------------Reina
Johnson/Kelly---Carra---Agger---Enrique
----------Lucas----Adam
Kuyt/Hendo--Gerrard----Downing
---------------Suarez

our backup players would consist of

--------------Doni
Kelly/Flano---Coates---Skrtel---Aurelio/GJ
-----------Spearing--Shelvey (but hendo and gerrrard could play there if adam is injured)
Hendo/Kuyt-------Bellamy-------Maxi
---------------Carroll

which isnt too bad, aurelio aside

I was writing Arsenal off for top 4 as soon as it looked like you were going to lose Fabregas and Nasri.

You are still a very good side, but I think Liverpool's squad is better and trust me, I don't say that easily.

Our best 11 will probably be:
-----------------------Chesney--------------------------
Sagna-------Metesacker------Verm-----------Gibbs/Santos
-----------------Song--------Wilshire------------------
------------------------Arteta---------------------------
Walcott----------------RVP--------------------Gervinho

with backup
----------------------Fabianski-------------------------
Jenkinson---Koscielny-----Djourou-----------Gibbs/Santos
--------------Frimpong-------Ramsey-----------------
------------------------Diaby----------------------------
Benayoun----------Park Chu-------------Arshavin

Rosicky, Chamakh and a couple of others not included.

I think we have decent depth now.

The problem Arsenal and Liverpool will have is is RVP/Suarez get injured long term.

Did you watch the Arsenal game Tranq? The combination of Merieles and Suarez changed the dimension of the game. Without Suarez and now Meireles you don't have that natural creativity to unlock defences.

i almost forgot that arsenal were in the CL aswell, that is gonna push youre squad to its absolute limit
and whilst marcelo has improved under mourinho, hes still caught out positionally way too many times

the simple question that arsenal fans should think about is, is the arsenal squad you currently have now stronger than the squad you had at the end of last season, and the answer is that its simply not
