First topic message reminder :

Breaking News: Everton crowned Furious League champions after 1-0 win against Birmingham

NOTICEBOARD

This week's TPs will be closed on Wednesday, but open on Thursday instead. Lawyers will also stay open for you to accept offers until the close of Thursday.

Players who left the league through season 2 lawyers will become available to buy in TPs from Thursday (15th)

Season 4 - U21 = players born on or after 01/10/1990

New League Squad Limit Rules to be introduced!

From season 4, there will a 25 man league squad limit from which you will be able to select players to play in league games.

These will be the 25 players from which your injuries will be drawn so as to prevent managers from the bigger, richer teams from diluting the risk of their stars picking up injuries.

You will be able to take players in and out of your League 25, but from the point that injuries are drawn that is the 25 that you must select your league team from. Injuries will now be drawn on Wednesdays

Your overall squad can remain larger than 25, but your League eligible 25
must be shown separately. Players outside of the 25 can still play in cup and European competitions.

ROLL OF HONOUR

League Champions

Season 1 - Blackburn (Andy)

Season 2 - Tottenham (Nick)

Season 3 - Everton (Smartest)

Cup Winners

Season 1 - no competition

Season 2 - Everton (Smartest)

Season 3 - Stoke (Viva)

Gary O'Connor who plays for Hibs but thats old news, Hero acting like he the media. Never make false claims mate or next time you'll get sued.

Mighty when you confirm lawyer offers can you also put down the club that the player is going to. If you look how I confirm deals it's probably the best on the league.

MightyMoose inherited a great squad and turned it into Poopie. no wander you had a Poopie team before, because you made one!! Ohh at first I felt Spurs were in good hands, but they are no longer Spurs, they are back to being Spuds!

Viva was the only man for the job, I knew it in my heart. Ohhh Viva why, why did you not take over!?!?!?!

LOL. He is putting his own mark on it and it is work in progress!

My Fulham team is also evolving and current starting XI is something like:

---------------Stekelenburg
Walker----Marchena----Shawcross-----Jansen
------------Gago--------Sandro
------------------Lucho
Donovan-----------------------------Reyes
----------------Gilardinho

With attacking FB's supporting the wingers.

How's that looking now compared to before? Where are improvements needed most.

Nick I would have loved to take over Spurs but I have a contract with Stoke and with the diasters that happend with the previous regime I don't think it's fair on the fans. Even if they are inbred.

Difficult to judge Gago to much as he had such a long injury spell.

But before injury he was a Real regular, he is an argie international and now he has gone to Roma, he should now get the game time to be back where he was 2 years ago. He came on at the weekend on his debut and made a difference straight away, so fingers crossed

It's Marseille's Lucho.

He is a box to box midfielder isn't he. He is our teams passer, playing further forward than Sandro and Gago (who are pretecting the back four).

Lucho's workrate means he will get all over the park. With him in front of Sandro and Gago, our CB's will be well protected allowing our FBs to bomb forward and support the attacks, which in turn will allow the wingers to get closer to Gilardinho to support him. It is the formation that England have been playing recently

Mouse - you got to bear in mind that you won't be offering CL football in your TPs, so won't be able to draw the real creme de la creme, and there is even the risk on no European football at all.

Managing Spurs would be a level up from Stoke but Skid Marks got in there before me but I feel I am closer to Spurs then I was last week. So it's not all bad.

Stoke have done well for next season.

Sold Roger Johnson bought in Michael Dawson = improved defence

Sold Marvin Martin bought in Matthieu Valbuna = improved midfield

Cardozo gone bought in Negredo = improved strikerforce

A couple of more signings and we are good to go.

Yeah Lucho is a box to box player, I understood it that the wingers could cut in and support the striker and the full backs could get forward.

Hey guys.
Afro I like Lucho Gonzalez, would have liked him to join Arsenal but if you want an example of a player he is similar to then that would be Arteta. If you class Arteta as box to box then Gonzalez is box to box but I class him more as a playmaker. Can play either the deep lying playmaker or attacking midfield playmaker role.

Hero,
Which player had his value plummet after that dispatches program last night then?
Was it Ashley Young? I thought so, I knew he must have been taking something to perform like this at the start of the season. I demand a rematch of the Man utd v Arsenal game.
Also Viva £2M for Ashley Young?

New rules may come in for lawyers next season.

Clubs will only be able to confirm the deal on the Wednesday, clubs from outside the league may offer for two players in the same position but from diffrent clubs and will decide which one they want.

Example:

AC Milan put in a bid for Nani and Di Maria, if both clubs accept Milan will decide which one they want, if only one clubs accepts then they will buy that player.

In truth, I was delaying it Viva, I just hadn't updated the table.

Anyway, here we go.

Week 9 Results:
Birmingham 0-1 Everton
Villa 1-1 Stoke
Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool
Bolton 2-0 Blackburn
Fulham 0-2 Sunderland

And the final league table:
Pos Team Pts GD
1. Everton 23 +11
2. Liverpool 20 +6
3. Sunderland 15 +5
4. Blackburn 14 -1
5. Tottenham 13 0
6. Bolton 10 -3
7. Stoke 9 -2
8. Aston Villa 8 -3
9. Birmingham 6 -4
10. Fulham 4 -9

Champions (+ CL): Everton
CL: Liverpool
Europa League: Sunderland, Blackburn, Stoke

So congrats to Smartest and to all managers who exceeded their own expectations.

I will get Andy to update the official page with these, and I will also post the calculations later.

Tottenham 0-2 Liverpool - MightyMoose, terrible, just terrible

Very true Viva, I did a joke of tactics and still got a draw. No idea how.

Somehow the league champions Tottenham lose to bottom of the league Poopie Fulham, who can barley score a goal all season but can bang 2 past the champions. After then I fecked my tactics up to test the waters out with people and a patteren emerged.

Viva, You know how it work mate, people have their favourite and vote for them. That’s That, remember I pointed out to you one manager who had never eva eva, eva eva, eva eva gave me a win. Even one week where I didnt had tactics in he voted for me to lose with some explanation too. Now thats just blats!!

Nick - What actually happened is that you did rubbish tactics versus Fulham, they beat you deservedly. You assumed that because you were Spurs and were the champions, you should have won. Because you didn't, you threw your toys out of the pram.

Why do managers moan whenever results don't go their way.

And if there is evidence/patterns of dodgy voting, then send them to me so we can do something about it, rather than just moan like an old woman about it.

Nick you actually got a win against me lol. It was obvious some people didin't read tactics in that match. Yeah that manager was classic Nick making up a match discription with no tactics to read. Next season I'll have to change my tactics make them more basic and lies about my players.

Nadeem shut your face, you tell Srna to play the offside trap but your two CB are playing deep and then play the offside trap. How the hell does that work? How are your centre backs supposed to spring the offside when playing deep? I play as a CB so I know how the offside works and you can't use it when playing deep, because you lose the suprise of stepping infront of the attacker to catch him off guard madness.

Vidal and Cleverly may last the whole game but so can my players, thats just stupid, Palombo before the world cup was the fittest player in the Italy squad with the bleep test. An yes I did play a cup final three days before but fatigue from previous matches don't count. So suck it.

theres 2 types of people on this league. Friends and Enemies. All of you are on my Friends list. This is a battle between good vs evil. Ying vs Yang. Left vs Right. Missionary vs Doggie Style. Pac vs Biggie. Lankey vs Midgit. Fatty vs Skinny. Nerds vs Gangstaz.

Viva, I voted Stoke to beat Spurs that day as I believe Spurs played an injured player or didn't hand in tactics. Saying that you would only have finished 6th instead of 7th if you added the 3 points. But you deserved those 3 points. I remember last season Spurs played an injured player against me and nobody noticed it in voting and I lost.

Also Spurs played an injured player this week so I'm glad Liverpool won that game.

My manager of the season (after me of course) is MelonGimp. Reason being everybody wrote him off all season but somehow his Loserpool team finished 2nd just 3 points behind the champions. Runner up is Viva for winning the Cup.

I'm pretty sure I also voted for a Stoke win v Spurs.

And Viva would have been 5th Smarts, because Spurs would have 3 less points.

But all in all, a great season Viva. European football next season means you can attract better players again and build on it. Top 4 a realistic target next year, top 2 not out of your reach either.

Afro, my tactics against fulham were sick, pure sickness!! I did them on purpose to proove a point to someone and it proved it.

Viva, yeah sorry I got the win. No idea how but I did say to you watch. Once again point proven.

MightyMoose, your not the manager in question..

NadzBuster, there actually 3 types, Friends, Enemies and a Dickhead

Was it Fan Nick?

And you tactics were rubbish. You left Defoe completely unmarked and free to do whatever he wanted, if I remember correctly.

Whos Idea was the voting system again?? Fan? I always felt it could be dodgy but the first season it wasnt and I didnt think it would become, but I think it did somewhere along the line.
