Post by Pete C (Kiwireddevil) Thu 08 Sep 2011, 12:05 pm

First topic message reminder :

Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.

The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great modern open-side flanker pictures on the bar. We've got Dusatoir, Jennings, Pocock, Brussow and McCaw up, all in action "pilfering pill". Graffiti's a banning offence Wink

So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Ale cider guinness coffee mug cuppa Bubbly RedWine

Morning Swanny! reckon I'll join you on the cake

Sione Timani the new Scarlets signing is on the bench for Tonga, hope he gets a run out, want to get another look at him to see if he really will be the sort of lock that we need.

GIBBO - they'll milk it at half time, but thankfully not during the match.

They've added an ad break in between the Hakas and kick-off! Also extended half-time from 12 minutes to 10 minutes. This is obviously a global thing but ITV are the originators; all with a view to England 2015.

Actually, Tonga were always designated to go first as their 'Team A' officially and it was up to New Zealand whether or not they wanted to respond simultaneously or not.

Excellent tackle there, but the ABs will score here...

Morning all.

how are we? I won't lie I have booked a room in the office here and I am skiving to watch this game.

I will do a few bits in between but I am not even sorry..

for those who don't have me on facebook.

I never wanted to believe that my dad was stealing from his job as a roadworker. But when I got home, all the signs were there.

Yes, nothing to do with NZ wanting to gain an advantage is it ? 🤦

Samoa and Tonga managed to do them at the same time in 2007....

So McCaw doesn't release the player in the tackle and the Tongan player is pinged for holding on, AllBlacks score from resulting penalty. Good to see nothing changes
