The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the collage of great modern open-side flanker pictures on the bar. We've got Dusatoir, Jennings, Pocock, Brussow and McCaw up, all in action "pilfering pill". Graffiti's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

I wonder what the locals make of England's kit today? It does look a bit strange to me not seeing the all whites.

Off side from England. Oh the referees have been told to crack down on that have they? So I guess Richie McCaw must have stolen Harry Potter's cloak of invisibility then.

Willy - aye that's what the commentator said. Good for England not to concede a try there. Wonder if the Pumas will go for the points or a try?

Ooo Contepomi is going to get a talking to there, contact with Wigglesworth in the air.

Aww that's appaling bias right there. Saying Contepomi meant to take out Wogglesworth in the air. He went for the ball why on earth would he want to do such a thing rather than gathering the ball.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Morning all, I got "dragged" to the pub after work last night so a bit :hungover: this morning, though a nice mushroom, cherry tomato and cheese omelette has helped.
I see a few English numbers are peeling off already, so that's kit failures for both Nike and Adidas (SBW's sleeve) in the opening round.
Good O2 add pre-match too

It was on Foden wasn't it? He's had a haircut...and it's not very flattering.
Good grief, there's some booing there.
But he nails it.

it just looked like a pork pie to me Glas!
Big blow ehre for Argentina if they're experienced front rower has to come off already, fingers crossed he doesnt.
2 missed kicks now by Argentina, they're going to regret them.

The Pumas need a tidy kicker...especially when England are getting penalised so much and they have Wilko in his kicking boots on today.

This RWC is going to kill me. Couldnt get to sleep again and watched Scotland v Romania. What a game by the Oaks forwards. They near did it. Fantastic forward-power. But Scotland Believed. Danelli did the biz. Loving the way this comp has started. Just brilliant.

I'd highly recommend the Japan match highlights - you'll love it.
ANOTHER penalty against England. Binnage coming up?

Sorry Glas... A phrase coined during the Lions Tour 2009....hence Lukey Loverug (Fitzgerald - he showed his off extensively during the tour).
Anyway, apparently "Big Ted" is playing for England. I wondered what he did after Playschool...
