Boycott Primetime
Thought I'd give in and purchase the Mayweather v Ortiz fight, which isn't even in HD by the way. Until I noticed on top of the £15 they want a registration charge of £2.50.
It's a disgraceful act of greed, us fans pay enough, so I urge any members to boycott this until they negotiate to drop the registration charge.
Poor channel robbing us blind, hope your channel goes bust, you bar stewards

Primetime are alright although the registration fee is scandalous. I've been ordering PPV's since they started broadcasting and their fine but the £15 is a bit steep tbh.

Well if it makes it feel better with a bit power then fair enough.
They probably have to do the washing up, hoovering and cooking for therenwifes, when they return from work.
Are you listening ? trying to sell me Primetime then stitching us for a 2.50 charge, you should be ashamed 606v2 for associating your self with a cowboy channel like Primetime, the channel probably won't even have a license, be some iraqi sitting in a office streaming it through the net and you want 17.50
do one

We are not ashamed with our partnership with Primetime.
They are giving you members a chance to watch the fight for free, we are getting a mention on the show and we will probably have more competitions in the future.
If you want to complain and whinge about spending £2.50 then that's your choice. Personally I think there are more important things in life to worry about than having to spend a one off charge of £2.50.

Re: Boycott Primetime
The £2.50 is a once off payment so it's not too bad. Every other fight after that is the standard 15 snots.

Re: Boycott Primetime
i think your perhaps been a bit harsh to primetime, they havent the luxery of endless pockets like sky, so cannot show fights for free, and $15 is standard ppv prices. i paid that to watch haye/wlad with one fight on the undercard. and $2.50 is less than the bus fare to watch it in the local pub.

What 5 members very kind of them, considering the absolute farcical nonsense they try to feed us. You're letting them use a forum as some sort of marketing engine, well it's your site so be it, I'd be ashamed I'd rather associate myself with channel 901.
Thanks for not taking the thread down tho, even if one other person takes my stance I'd be happy.
How about since youre happy to linked with Primetime, you try and get boxing members the registration charge for free?

'Ooh, what's more important, you Primetime, with your PPV, or some starving children? Ooh I don't know. Ooh what would Lenny Henry say? I think we know-imagine him going out of the door on comic relief day and Dawn French is going 'Where you going, you haven't done the washing up. You haven't put the rubbish out.' Re: Boycott Primetime
So far on this thread you have all complained about the draconian Emperor's coming and locking the thread, that didn't happen.
So instead Eric decides to moan about having a 1 in 5 chance of getting the ppv for free.
How many have you have ever bought a Primetime fight using the 606v2 link?
How many threads are posted slating Primetime?
Yet they still offer five free ppv's to you - and there is still something to moan about?

So because they offer a couple of free PPV's (which are over priced anyway) we aren't allowed to have a negative opinion about them? I was a primetime customer before this site was up and running and they have a lot to improve.

Re: Boycott Primetime
I'd like to think most were like the majority of posters on here, rather than the vocal minority that love the sound of their own voice (not quite on the internet I know!).
There is plenty to moan about in boxing: ppv charges, too many belts, the best fights not happening, world champions who admit they're not ready to face the best etc.
I just can't see how a chance to win a free fight stream is one of them!
Kev, you can obviously criticise them is this thread still here? I am saying that moaning about winning a free fight seems like moaning for the sake of it.

Yes four of those will probably be you, Hobo, Y I Man and Windy saying that Windy probably doesn't realise he can get channel.
Anyway I wanna know why is there a registeration fee, I can't imagine there's any cost by sending a signal to your card, considering they don't offer anything for free view everything is PPV.
Primetime another joke of a channel whom fighters and promoters are using to screw us fans over AGAIN!
Stick your 5 free PPVs, I'd rather take our lass out then pay to watch a channel who charges and doesn't even offer HD, mickey mouse channel if you ask me
