The Great British Bake-Off
Anyone watch?
Paul Hollywood rules.
Anyone agree with me that this slice of quintessentially British programming is unusually entertaining?

I hadn't seen it till last Sunday by chance and I was reeled in. Reckon I'll be all over it again this weekend...
One downside, I ate more bread than I usually would after watching

I LOVE TGBBO!!! I thought I might be the only sad git watching it, but it's exciting stuff!
I don't want that posh girl (Louise?) to win it though. She's too blydi Miss Goody Two Shoes for me. I'm sure she's not an amateur baker either.
The biscuits and cakes one made me

Just a bit annoying. I'm betting she's got a mega rich husband she just stays home and bakes for all day!
Its all about Pies - I'm well hungry already

I'd hate to be Paul Hollywood's son. He'd be so hard to please
And I doubt he needs Mirangue tips from Holly, Mary Berry. He don't need tips from anyone. He's Paul Hollywood - the Baking A-Lister!

Doesn't sound like a very charismatic show in all honesty; Simon Cowell would make sure the contestants all have bizarre background stories, they would orchestrate in U2 songs and have in-house rivalries which are relayed on to The Sun... what you need is a good excrement stirrer like Cowell pulling the strings!

Josiah - that's the good thing about this programme. People are judged on their skills only. None of those crap sob stories and favouritsm. If the contestants can't bake as challenged, they're out. End of.

It's a British show, being British - not a British show trying to be American.

Coming up to the final now. If Holly wins I'm going to be cheesed off. I really can't stand her. She's getting worse through the series as well....

Re: The Great British Bake-Off
I want Jo to win - not likely though.
Watching Holly is like eating a cake made of glass. So prissy
I was sad to see Janet leave - enormous should never be counted as a negative in home baking. That's how big all Pain au Chocolats should be!!

Yeah I was disappointed Janet had to go. I think she did really well. I'm surprised Jo lasted so long to be honest. I'd rather she wins it though than Holly. Holly's taking it all too seriously and she's too competative for an amateur competition.
