winning the welsh way
this much used term now has a new meaning. winning the welsh way is losing by a point.
wales might win the proper way against samoa, by scoring more points, but that would probably be down the fact that samoa have a four day turn around from the namibia game to their meeting with the worldcup's best prepared losers.

its apparently those "top 2 inches" that we're missing.
do the players not get those viagra emails the rest of us do?
fuming, but lets see us play like that against fiji/samoa/namibia(i want us to really put namibia to the sword) and go from there.

Surely winning the 'Welsh way' is either an Oxymoron, or simply a contradiction in terms!!

To be fair, very few Welsh supporters on here have been like that. Gareth Thomas on ITV did Wales no favours.

Re: winning the welsh way
Whenever they put a welsh person on tv, they go out of their way to find the most stereotypical (and twp) welsh person they can find. It really grinds my gears, and as great as alfie was as a player, surely after 2005 they should have realised he may not be the best person to interview for any intelligent insight or punditry? alas, on their day, Wales could beat anyone

Jiffy, Quinnel, that Sonia lass, Eddie Buttler, Alfie, Chruch. The typical BBC line up...Id call that a pretty broad cross spectrum of the Welsh population.
Are you saying that the stereotype of Welsh is celebrity homosexuals with massive egos? Becasue to me its short dark haired me with coal dust on their faces singing incomprehensible songs about how bad the English are, that and the woman off Hi de Hi anyway.
Did he actually say the "on their day" line though? Im begining to suspect the Welsh have a joke going with this and are seeing how often they can slip it in.

Dont forget drowning your villages so the Liverpudlians could be taught how to wash. We even had the audacity to beat you at the Millenium.
At leats we let you keep the daffodil costumes.

Henson, like the majority of Welsh males, is just very confused as to what to do now the mines are closed! He blames Maggie though.

Aye, you could at least have given them an extensive course though, not sure dampening their pits counts as "washing"!
Dont forget, you can take our mines, our villages, our victory at the millenium stadium, but you will never take our daffodil costumes.

Re: winning the welsh way
Pete tell them that story about the time you walked into a Welsh pub and everybody started speaking welsh It's a classic
I think the pub one is better than the shop story more drama to it.

Re: winning the welsh way
Winning the Welsh Way is exactly the same as winning the Scots Way and the Irish Way.
