Ross 'The Boss' Thompson
I was just browsing on BoxRec, checking out Tyson Fury's next opponent Nicolai Firtha.
His last fight was a UD win against Ross Thompson.
I clicked on Ross Thompson, and noticed that he is 5' 9" tall.
"That's short for a heavyweight" I thought.
I checked his weight for his last fight, 250lbs. (That's almost 18 stone.)
"Big lad" I thought.
I then did a double take, as glancing at his record I saw that he had fought Kelly Pavlik in 2004.
He was 167lbs for the Pavlik fight.
Intrigued, I scrolled down the page and saw that on his debut in 1992, Ross Thompson was a welterweight, tipping the scales at 146lbs.
So, over his career (so far), Ross has put on an incredible 104lbs.

Is that some kind of record?
