I may or may not have said this on here but my dad is currently fighting cancer and going into hospital tomorrow for a few weeks. Along with Uni and looking after brother and pets and running between Chester and Manchester will mean limited time on this. I should still be on a few times a day so hopefully you will forgive me being even less reliable than usual in getting back to offers etc haha

Thoughts on Cruden then lads? I'm a big fan of his, him and Piri at half back was a big reason why I choose the 'Canes instead of the Blues.

They are 3 managers on here who arn't AP managers but are all on the waiting list. What i am suggesting would kill two birds with one stone.

The AP game has long needed some competitive fixtures against foreign teams in the European games. So what i am suggesting is Pull , Bathite and Fluxy manage the European sides in the Heineken cup. Would make the AP more competitive on that front and keep you guys involved in the whole fantasy rugby mold.

They are some crease to iron out but it could be done!

I understand the idea driver but it would be soooooo difficult to do. For instance none of the European sides have any good players left and unless you take players off the AP teams (which won't be popular at all) then the 3 managers would be playing 6 games a year and wouldn't have any leverage to deal with anyone as cash has lesser value all the time over on AP.

I'm sure an 8 team but longer term game will work better. It could be as previously suggested simply 8 domestic teams competing against each other with a reduced number of foreigns and more based on a few lines (and no more) of tactics rather than simply who has the better team on paper.

Good idea but I'm not really keen on it as I think it would be a constant struggle to get players. I'd love to be in the AP game properly, but think being a foreign team would be a lot of work.

Would prefer to go for an 8 team format on here - is that enough though?

I think we should percivire with this with 8 teams as a running league looks more appealing than one which doesn't work.

I think an 8 team thing would work Pull, but it may be best in a longer term game. Say 5 to 10 foreign transfers a season, then we keep the squad we have for the next season to see how it goes.

Perhaps everyone can choose there team out of the Magners and AP.

I think shorter seasons would work. At the end of each season freshen things up?

Yep. The monthly bonus will be £20 mil on Monday to allow sides to bid for Reds + Leinster players.
