Burns v Katsidis is lined up for Nov 12 at 135 for WBO

Clue is in the title really. This would be a very tough first assignment and one which would win Burn a few fans if he takes it. His run as chanp at SF has beeen more than disappointing so i for one take my hat off if he goes for Kats first time out at LW

Lol fair to play to Burns for taking on this match but I reckon he will get destroyed Katsidas is much to strong look what he did to Mitchell.

Hope Burns can do it he seems like a top bloke but cant see him having much chance.

It would be at 135lbs not 130lbs that's super featherweight.

I thought Kats had moved up to 140lbs?

Burns wouldn't beat him you need to have a bit of dig to keep Kats off you and Burns doesn't. Pretty easy and early nights work for Kats imo.

I dunno who to cheer on on in this one as both are in my top 10 list of favourite current fighters. Probably Burns as he is the underdog

Not a wise move. To be honest I still can't get over what a disgrace it is that he isn't fighting Broner, a young guy with hunger, undefeated and mean. Kats is over the hill but may still have enough to deal with powder puff punches from a naturally smaller bloke.

Katsidis sole purpose in life is to visit the UK and destroy British fighters. Brave move by Burns but he looks a little small for Katsidis.

I'll still give it a watch though, Katsidis is very entertaining.

Looking forward to this one, can see Katsidis ending it early but Burns may have the skills to beat him, if i had to put money id go with Katsidis though

Nothing confirmed maybe even Simpson. A venue hasn't been confirmed but it will be either the S.E.C.C or Braehead. I would love i to be the Kelvin Hall that's an excellent boxing venue but only holds 2500 so it won't be there.

That first part made me laugh. I can see this being just like Katsidis vs Mitchell.

Boxrec is saying the Kelvin Hall although I know its hardly reliable when it comes to this. Needs a good card to fill the SECC so i'd presume it will be Braehead. Never been, whats the atmosphere like?

Went to see Scott Harrison at Braehead about 7 times it's good when it's full but if it isn't full it is horrible and really quiet. Hope it's Kelvin Hall that would sell out. The atmosphere in there the night Ricky beat Martinez was excellent.
