Degale Groves rematch early 2012?

As the title states, Degale is looking to rematch Groves early next year. What are your thoughts on this?

Personally would've preferred this to happen a few years down the line when they've both got a few more fights in, but with Groves now also with Warren think this will probably happen sooner rather than later...

I don't like DeGale, he's crass, classless and thinks highly of his skills. He's been handed things to him on a silver platter... just like Khan and Harrison before him and he needs a loss to teach him a lesson in how important it is to concentrate on boxing rather than the flashing lights.

That said, he has the opportunity to concentrate on his work, win a Euro, move up a level and PROVE with his work and not with his mouth.

Instead you're proposing some iffy Harrison, Sprott, Williams rivalry... ooooh exciting stuff.

Why risk it when we could have a bigger fight down the line?

I love boxing and love the fact we have two decent looking Super Middles in a rich division.

I can admit that I dislike DeGale as a person, but I think I've proven a little knowledge of how he fights and how he's not as great as you, he and a lot of people think he is.

He was supposed to be levels above Groves... he wasn't. Groves best plan still beat DeGales ONLY plan... and it would have 9 times out of 10 before DeGale realised his style is suited to fighters who rely on the jab and can't work out DeGales movement coming forward when parrying and rolling using the philly.

Two great prospects with the chance of doing good for themselves. WASTING TIME on each other. Why would you want that unless you are blindly in love with DeGale? Juna waamsane?

I'm a big DeGale fan admittedly although I also like Groves I don't feel a need to choose between them. I do think DeGale under performed and so does he. Listen to his interviews in the days after the fight not on the night. He knows he should have threw more punches instead of posing so much. He never asked enough questions of Groves.

Personally I think it's happening early next year for the Euro strap with the winner going on to fight for a version of the WBO strap by early 2013 and the loser to be fighting at World level by the end of 2013.
