England 41 - 10 Georgia
First topic message reminder :
"England ran six tries past Georgia for a 41-10 win, but were made to work overtime for their victory in Dunedin on Sunday.
Whilst England bagged maximum points against the brave Georgians, who never gave up until the final whistle, Martin Johnson will know there's still plenty of work ahead in what was another unconvincing display by his side." PR
Georgia:
Gigauri, Machkhaneli, Kacharava, Zibzibadze, Todua, Kvirikashvili, Abuseridze, Khinchagashvili, Bregvadze, Kubriashvili, Zedginidze, Maisuradze, Sutiashvili, Gorgodze, Basilaia.
Replacements: Giorgadze, Zirakashvili, Datunashvili, Chkhaidze, Samkharadze, Berishvili, Khmaladze.
England:
Foden, Ashton, Tuilagi, Hape, Armitage, Flood, Youngs, Stevens, Hartley, Cole, Shaw, Palmer, Wood, Moody, Haskell.
Replacements: Thompson, Corbisiero, Croft, Deacon, Simpson, Wilkinson, Banahan.

Geargia are a very solid team and are getting better. Gone are the days of teams putting cricket scores past them

Re: England 41 - 10 Georgia
5 missed kicks, 3 of which should've been nailed on, Georgia still giving it a go, and deserving of a lot more than theyre getting at the mo, another penalty, Kaplan should have handed out another yellow by now!!!

he's very anti-English, which is weird cause the Australians commentators last night were convinced that the referee was out to get them and every penalty they conceded was wrong.

Re: England 41 - 10 Georgia
Vickery finally praises Georgias labour.
England cynical in defence in their half, Georgian forwards have the measure of them in the tight, and the two Georgian halfbacks are very canny.
Unfortunately Kaplan is not refereeing this game with the impartiality he should. He can't see England struggling and is therefor not penalising their cynicism at the breakdown.
Respect to Georgia for not loosing their heads...! Though I guess they must be used to this, as it seems to be the trend for referees to favour the top ten ranked sides over the so called minows that they see as trying to spoil the big teams rather than letting them just play.
Kaplan is starting to become more aware of it as the game progresses but it is forty minutes too late.

He likes to be definitive, superlative and authoritative and has a rather large chip on his shoulder

Australians are always like that when their losing, listening to the commentators during their tri nations games i downloaded off fox sports was awful, i had to find a different copy of it in the end, because they whine like 5 year olds all the way through the game.
the new zealand game was particularly bad, for them moaning.

Re: England 41 - 10 Georgia
Well worked backline move for England.
Good try for tuialagi.
If England moved the ball around instead of taking on Georgias pack then the English backline would be on hat tricks.
England's backline look very very good Georgia can't live with their pace and passing...!
I can't understand why they have been so underused so far.

Fitness should tell now. Ashton doing what Ashton does and getting on the score sheet. Hopefully a couple more to come from the team.

What I wouldn't give to see that clown knock that ball on when he does that dive.
I want to see all the home nations get through. lthough from a purely selfish point of view I would have rather seen England lose this match, due to the fact it would have increaced Scotland's chances of going through.

I thought he looked quite hesitant to be honest , not a bad game but not to his usual standard

It was a purposeful exaggeration. Before the tournament Dallaglio said this was his stage to prove he was the best 8 in the world, or words to that effect.

I gave up on the fantasy league it is stupid, you need to make the changes to your team before the countries actually announce the team, i couldn't change carter which is stupid.

Stuart Barnes: England performance is not as good as Ireland's last night, all the glory will go to Georgia, yeah yeah they got the 5 points but their performance wasn't good....
so England needed to perform and NOT get 5 points!!!!!!!
