England 41 - 10 Georgia
First topic message reminder :
"England ran six tries past Georgia for a 41-10 win, but were made to work overtime for their victory in Dunedin on Sunday.
Whilst England bagged maximum points against the brave Georgians, who never gave up until the final whistle, Martin Johnson will know there's still plenty of work ahead in what was another unconvincing display by his side." PR
Georgia:
Gigauri, Machkhaneli, Kacharava, Zibzibadze, Todua, Kvirikashvili, Abuseridze, Khinchagashvili, Bregvadze, Kubriashvili, Zedginidze, Maisuradze, Sutiashvili, Gorgodze, Basilaia.
Replacements: Giorgadze, Zirakashvili, Datunashvili, Chkhaidze, Samkharadze, Berishvili, Khmaladze.
England:
Foden, Ashton, Tuilagi, Hape, Armitage, Flood, Youngs, Stevens, Hartley, Cole, Shaw, Palmer, Wood, Moody, Haskell.
Replacements: Thompson, Corbisiero, Croft, Deacon, Simpson, Wilkinson, Banahan.

And as if by magic somebody proves my point Cymro.
The commentators have already said this is England's best performance of the RWC several times.

I thought it was a Wales v Samoa match thread to be fair, meaning I could support either. I never said anything rude or derogatory about Wales, but feel free to call me a wum if you want, despite no evidence whatsoever to support that.

Radge, as I said, people are free to support who they want. Big one for your boys soon against the Argies, how do you see it going?
Dunno Pete. Will be a massive battle up front and with our muscular Christian at the chapel since it's being played on a Sunday I reckon our Scrum will struggle. We'll probably have the better of them at them at the line and breakdown. The backs I would say are probably about equally.
To be honest I don't know! Whatever the score I reckon it will be very close.

I cannot understand why Dylan Hartley doesn't get penalised for standing up in the scrum. He does it every time. Can anyone explain?

Pete you are hoisted by your own petard...if you accuse those that back Georgia as mere WUMs just because they are playing England, then by the same token that can be levelled at you when you support Samoa. I am not calling you a WUM but don't just dismiss those that back any team playing England in the same way.

It's omething that has been discussed before. Saints used it as a tactic by getting a shove on and then the front row standing up and bringing the oppo with them. If they were going forward the ref usually presumed that the oppo popped up first and gave Saints the pen.
Hartley seems to be trying to carry it on with England.

I think in part it's because it's a no win situation for us. If we win and it's tight we'll get slated, and if we run through them people will say it's only Georgia.
With all due respect to those commenting in here, there are plenty of wums on the site waiting for the chance to put the boot into England.

Well it seems it's game on. England's discipline right out the window but it was pretty loos tackling from england in that try.
Kudos to the georgian pack though.

Vickery - Theres no excuse to continually be penalised and put your team under pressure for no reason.
UNLESS YOUR ON YOUR OWN TRY LINE AND I'D HAVE PUT MY MORTGAGE ON A GEORGIAN TRY, INFACT HARTLEY PROB DID A VERY PROFFESSIONAL JOB THERE.
Mind you Phil, this is Englands best performance yet.
Nice Georgian try, they fully deserve that, yet as Wales and now Samoa know, deserving something doesn't mean you'll get it!!!
Shoddy first half from England, some silly mistakes made, probably as theyre trying to play rugby and not too used to playing this open, Johnson has the tactics spot on just poor execution so far, and worryingly soft around the fringes, poor 120 mins from England in this world cup so far!

Interesting first half England 2 trys and looked like running away with the game, but all credit to Georgia they are still in this game.
A great try for Georgia at the end of the first half.

Steve Ryder is a complete helmet too. "2 tries from Hape should have put England on their way". I would love to know how he comes to these conclusions.

I suspect England will run away with the game in the second half as Georgia will run out of steam. There seams to be a case for some of these teams like Russia, Georgia, Romania playing 6N teams more often or have promotion relegation from an eastern Euro league into the 6N to keep Italy/Scotland and Wales on their toes.

I'm gonna put it out there...
I quite like Barnes, he is passionate and knowledgable, well passionate anyway, and I don't care what anyone says every comentator has the right, and is better when supporting their team!
Although after giving Armitage the big I AM and how great a finish it was it will be disallowed!

To be honest they have had Kaplin in their pocket. England should have been penalised much more, possibly even two yellows for their work in the ruck when under pressure.
Looks like England will try to move the ball away from Geordies pack this half. If they do they will get a better result.
Playing bosh rugby won't work.

He said there are wums on the site keen for an opportunity to have a go at England, which he suggested might prevent supporters from bothering to look at the site in the first place. At no point does he say that people are wums depending on who they are supporting, he even precludes the people who were comentating in here from being wums with the first part of his statement.

Georgia are the strongest NH side outside of the 6 Nations, they were always going to be a very competitive outfit, particularly up front, as a number of players in their pack play in the Top 14.

Apologise for what? All he said was that there are those who are waiting to put the boot into England. He never said that everyone who doesn't support England is a WUM. Can you really not see the difference?
1 try away from the bonus point, which should definitely be the target.

Where is the hypocrisy is saying that there are members on this site who like to wum? He pretty much specifically said there weren't any on this post.
