Sheen's At It Again
Production of Two and Half Men has been halted after remarks by the hit US series' star, Charlie Sheen.
Sheen slammed the programme's producer in a radio interview on Thursday.
The decision was based on the "totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition", Warner Bros Television studio and the CBS network said in a joint statement.
The 45-year-old actor has also appeared in the films Wall Street and Platoon.
Production of the show had been postponed since late January after Charlie Sheen, the son of Hollywood actor Martin Sheen, entered rehabilitation for reported drug and alcohol abuse.
The actor's publicist had said earlier on Thursday that Two and a Half Men would resume production next week when Sheen had finished his rehabilitation.
But the statement by CBS and Warner Bros Television was issued after Sheen phoned into a US radio programme to criticise the programme's co-creator Chuck Lorre, as well as Alcoholics Anonymous.

I'd love to have a day in the life on Charlie Sheen. Think I'd probably die from all the drugs, alcohol and sex but it would be a good way to go!

He is a bit of a lad.
It almost seemed like he could do anything and was untouchable as long as 2 and a Half Men remained near the top of the US ratings charts. Not sure if this will hurt him.
I hate the show by the way!
You're right though Bobby - He's living the dream!

I do actually really like two and a half men, it just seems he has blurred the lines between fact and fiction!! Maybe this will be the wake up call he needs?

To be honest MGould I'm not entirely sure. I just don't find it that funny. I fail to see why it gets as much praise as it does.
There are a few shows like that for me. 2 and A Half Men and Everybody Loves Raymond being the main ones that spring to mind.

I'm working my way through Curb Your Enthusiasm right now. Got the Season 1-7 boxset for £30.
I might give it a try...but I just don't see it happening.

thats a brilliant price.
Myself and Electric Demon are huge fans of Curb - the two seasons which stood out for me were the restaurant and Producers ones.
Should really start a thread about it soon! Love Seinfeld as well.

To be honest, the price was the main reason I bought it. I'd been told I'd enjoy it...it's my kind of humour...so when I saw it online at that price I decided to grab it. I've only watched a couple of episodes so far, but when I've seen a few more I'll get a thread started on it.

Re: Sheen's At It Again
Where did you find it at that price DT? Only ever seen a few and really enjoyed them.
I don't really like 2 and a half men either. My brother loves it so I have seen quite a few but it never does much more than raise a smile at a few parts. The humour isn't clever and I can't understand the love it gets.

It gets the love it gets because of one scene in particular.

Re: Sheen's At It Again
It was on Play. Just checked back my order history and it was £29.99. It's now back up to £69.99.
It's on Zavvi at about £55 and £62 on HMV.

See he is now asking for 3 million an episode as opposed to the 1.8 he already collects an episode. He really needs to find a cheaper hooker and drug dealer

He's been sacked from the show now. Real shame for me personally as I only started watching it last summer and have really loved it. Charlie Harper, is a legend. Charlie Sheen is a dick.
