Tipp Minors

A big congratulations to the Tipp minors. Never though I could get into the football in the same way as I am into the hurling. These kids have now utterely converted me. I'll be keeping an eye on their progress over the coming seasons. But what a great game and what a great bunch of youngsters. Two cracking goals by each team in each half. Had such goals been scored in the senior match they would surely have been up for goals of the year. Anyway, congrats to Tipp, and Dub seniors and commiserations to junior Dubs. Great day all round.

Unlucky Dublin minor's they tried hard but looked pretty tired, it's been a long year for a lot of them playing both final's in the two code's. That said take nothing away from Tipp they have some spirit they came from behind in nearly every game this year and deserved it, fair play.

Well done to Tipperary. Good for the game down there.

dub, 6/7 of Tipp's minors are also on the hurling team, though their season wasn't as long as Dublin. It will be really interesting to see how they progress.

The Dublin goalkeeper must be heartbroken though it was a horrible error to make. I know his pain though to a certain extent thouh I've made a fair few of them myself when drafted into goal.

Still though one Dublin lost the match at the death the other won it and the same time in the other match.

Watching the game yesterday one of the starting 15 was subbed in the second half. He was only 15.
Does anybody recall anybody as young playing county minor football before.

Cork, Kerry, Meath, Roscommon and Dublin.
