Britani Knight signs for WWE

PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE has signed 20 year old UK Diva Britani Knight to a developmental deal. Knight will be finishing up her indy dates, including the SHIMMER tapings in October, very soon, and will be heading to FCW.

Knight, aka "The Norfolk Doll," comes from a prestigious wrestling family in The UK known as "The Knight Dynasty." Her brother Zak has reportedly received a WWE tryout, but there has been no word issued on whether or not he has signed a deal.


Note from me-over summer she has done a speech to say she is off to pastures new as soon as visas are sorted and wrestled her last match last night in WAW when she helped her mother saraya knight win a flag match to face allison danger in november at WAWW's return. As a wrestler I have seen over the last few years i can honestly say she can add a lot to the wwe divas division.

She is shockingly young! Is it normal for WWE to dish out developmental contracts to 20 year olds?

Divas wise 20 is normal since WWE consider older women less attractive (apart from mae young), I think Eddie and Vickies daughter is only 19/20 and shes in FCW. Most men seem to start abit later.

I remember reading somewhere that Rene Dupree was only 18/19 or something when he won the tag titles on Raw so it does happen recruiting people that young.

A lot of Indy wrestlers tend to start at a young age. The Briscoe Brothers in ROH have been wrestling there since they were 16.
