Then we need to add Hernandez.
I make that Chavez, Whitaker, Mayorga and Hernandez.

I believe someone may have inadvertently named the fighter without actually naming them?
It is NOT Molina or Ruelas.

Thanks, sam, but without your clue I'd never have gotten it.
Which world champion lost his title by way of first round kayo and won it back with a decision win in the rematch, four months later ?

Ha !
I won't lie to you, sam. When you mentioned Norris I was sufficiently panic - stricken to go check his record because I couldn't remember, either, and I thought I might have dropped a clanger.

Hence the backwards names, but seriously I have no idea about the actual answer at the moment.

Re: Pass the Parcel Quiz.
Few people know about Sonny Liston's real second fight with Patterson, which Patterson won by decision. The mafia heavily bet on Liston, and so they erased all records from the books, leaving the third fight (known now as the second fight) for them to fix and claim their money.
That's my answer.
That's my answer.

Re: Pass the Parcel Quiz.
Wasn't Julian Jackson was it, Windy? I know McClellan blasted him out in a round for the WBC belt, and I also know that Jackson briefly regained the title after that. However, I have no clue who it was against or how long after the McClellan fight it was.

With this being a question set by Windy I imagine it's a Flyweight from the 1920's who no one else has heard of.

Jackson didn't beat McLellan, Chris. He won the vacant belt after Gerald moved up in weight.

I know he didn't beat McClellan, Sam. But I missed the word 'rematch' in Windy's question, so thought it may have been a bit of a trick one.

All good shouts, fellas, but bellchees is the one who is getting warmer.
The clue is that ONE of his criteria - either the flyweight or the '20s - is right, while the other isn't.

I can't believe I've been missing this one! Did an article on the top 10 Flyweights of all time on the old 606, and mentioned this particular aspect when justifying my high ranking for this man; Pone Kingpetch.

Well done, Chris.
In 1963 Kingpetch was pole axed in a round by a Japanese fella whose name escapes me for a minute, in a massive upset. Order was promptly restored four months later when Kingpetch won a clear decision.
Over to you.

Re: Pass the Parcel Quiz.
Oddly enough Windy, I was going to use Kingpetch in one of my questions earlier, but my question was going to be who was Thailand's first world champion. Yours was much more interesting!
Who is the only boxer to have completed the double of Olympic gold medallist and world champion, but both of them at Welterweight?

Impressive stuff, Scott. Off you go.
Windy, I agree. Random, Olympic-style drug testing will put an end to Scott's little game.

Well your last answer was I guy whose name I'd only seen once before, so win some lose some. Was sure it was him or Leonard.
Struggling to think of more questions now...name 4 Olympic Gold Medallists currently operating in the Heavyweight Division.

76 lb is the biggest weight difference for a single fighter between their first ever world title bout, and their last one. Who holds this record?
