Who would you like to see induct HBK & why?

Personally I'd love it to be Bret Hart as these two guys were my favourite wrestlers growing up, they had an amazing rivalry the best in the business in my opinion

Brady do you think the pair of them genuinely did bury the hatchet last year.

When they did the hug on RAW last year it felt very forced especially from HBK, I think the feeling is there from Bret as it became an albatross around his neck for many a year but I've just never felt the same from Michaels.

I also wish they'd done the storyline differently at the time last year and that moment when HBK pauses leaving the ring I'd so hoped he turned and hit a Sweet Chin Music.

Can it really be anyone other than Triple H?

Just found this regarding his Hall of Fame induction, Michaels says WWE has given him the option of who will induct him, but he hasn't narrowed it down to one person yet.

"That is a decision they have left to me. Honestly, the hardest thing is getting it down for me. It's like someone who asks me what's my favorite match. It's very hard to narrow it down to one guy," Michaels said.

Michaels listed Triple H, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman as one group of wrestlers he's considering. He also mentioned Ric Flair and Bret Hart, as well as "behind the scenes" former wrestlers Michael Hayes and Arn Anderson. "My understanding is I'm going to have to make a decision pretty quick. To be honest, I don't know that I've narrowed it down to one," he said."

id like to see bret hart do it but its prob gotta be HHH really, there careers have been entwined like the branchs of an olive tree in recent years

If he was still with the company I think it would have been Ric Flair, but as he isnt I cant see past HHH

Hero, The hug looked cringeworthy when i first saw it! It wasn't necessary a simple handshake would of done the trick.

When I hear some of the backstage stuff though it appears more genuine. HBK didn't need to mention Bret in his retirement speech but he did which was a nice touch.

Shawn seems to changed man since he 'found' god & fatherhood

Triple H is the natural choice I agree. As a guy who's favourite year in WWE was 97 I would love it if it was Bret

Yeah since then I think they have possibly had a reconciliation. On the night though HBK looks like he hasn't a clue what to do and if he was being set up.

I reckon they bring back Jose Lothario for it!

for me it has to be HHH; I know there's the kliq and all with Waltman, Hall and Nash but really HBK & HHH have been faithful servants of the WWE and you can't take away what they accomplished as DX. As Lex-Express so poetically put it the two of their careers have been entwined like an olive branch.

I'd expect it to be HHH, but would love Bret Hart to do it, Bret was around Shawn a lot longer than trips so would probably have some better stories than others for the induction speech, and lets be honest, go back 24 months and would anyone have expected Michaels and Hart to be friends?

If he's got the casting vote and can get them together, I'd say it'll probably be the Kliq - another curtain call!!

Possibly Triple H, and once hes gave his speech and stuff, Nash, Hall & Waltman will come out and congratulate him.

I'd like to see Bret Hart do it just to cement the fact that they've buried the hatchet. It's interesting that even before their reconcilliation, Shawn Michaels had said that he wanted the Hitman to do it because he wanted his whole story to be told or something like that.

I think if Bret did it now there would be some glossing over of the past, he couldn't really go up there & say "Shawn was a complete & utter douche for a lot of his career" and rant about him but I still think it would be more interesting than HHH publicly jacking off Michaels.

If, sorry when, HHH inducts Shawn Michaels, he'll probably say the exact same things he said about Ric Flair.

Michaels said before the reconcile he'd want someone who could speak objectively about his career but always respected his ability therefore Hart would be a natural choice. Sadly I suspect it will be a Flair-esque lovefest conducted by The Game himself

What's the deal with this one? I've heard Bret had an affair with Sunny whilst she dated Shawn?

Imagine if Michaels asked Bret & he turned it down because he was busy that night inducting Sunny!

I was only watching an interview with sunny the other day. She is deluded saying Michaels wanted to move in with her and bought a house for them both to live in, she claimed she turned it down to work things out with Candido and saying soon after that he went on the rebound to marry the woman he's with now I forget her name.

Bret Hart over HBK any day for me.

Can you imagine the tension and awkwardness backstage at the HOF and do knowing WWE they have waited to get Sunny and Michaels in it together at the same time

I always remember one promo she cut before a PPV. The "The following contains scenes of an... *seductive pause* ... adult nature" while she was sitting in a bath

I think if Shawn Michaels had his say without putting anyones nose out of joint he would choose Kevin Nash, they have been friends for a lot longer than he and Trips and Michaels and Nash always seem to be a constant in each others personal lives, Nash was even the one who introduced the 'Boy Toy' to his wife.

Personally though, I'd love to see Marty Jannetty inducting him although that might be enough to push Jannetty over the edge seeing how different their lives panned out

I'm calling it right now, one of Triple H's opening lines will be something like "If anyone deserves their own wing in the Hall of Fame, it's Shawn Michaels".

Probably a Diva, Trish Stratus or Beth Phoenix maybe? There'll be plenty of "Sunny was the first WWE Diva" comments though. I think Scott Hall should do it, he could take a dump on her Hall of Fame ring like he used to do with her food.
