The return of Luke Arscott, Sireli Naqelevuki and Richie Baxter to the starting XV at the expense of Phil Dolman, Bryan Rennie and James Phillips will surely be a boost to the Chiefs, particularly Naqer whose ability to make hard yards with ball in-hand and to break the gain line causes all sorts of problems in oppo's midfield and makes space for his colleagues around him. It is interesting that this season he's been turning out at OC rather than at 12 as he did last, altho he does still appear in the IC channel from time to time - I suspect that this is Rob Baxter having done some thinking that teams would be reaady for the tactic of blasting him up the 12 channel, so a little variety this year might keep them on the back foot. James Hanks and Josh Tatupu remain unavailable thru injury.
