Make sure you check your weeks Injuries as if any injured players are part of the starting 11 this will affect your team and effectively they will be starting with 10 players.

There are no restrictions on tactics but please try not to make them too long as we’d like to take into consideration managers have a minimum of four sets to read through on voting days.

Anyone who consistently Copy and Pastes tactics every week may find their teams results take a nose dive.

today i want a balanced preformance, dont forget you defensive responabiltys but push forward and get doen those flanks, look for the hieght in the centre and use the 3 AMs when ddfending like other games dont over commint and force there winger into isolation .

a strong game from you today,make sure the striekrs dont get in behind you and play safe, dont leave gaps for there strikers to run into, be strong and be smart, look for lass and the AMs when getting the ball out of dfense.

Lass you should relise what ire quiree from you, sit infront of the back for and support them, close down there midild and give them no time force mistakes and stay back when the full backs burst forward, look to distribute teh ball ot team mates and create attacks, look ariley for the STs also.

Right welcome coutinho. today you will play out wide but look to burt inside, use both fett and look fro overlapping full backs and the other 3 atacking players. also look to take on there full backs, vary every time and keep them guessing, look for the hieght of the strikers when croosing and for long balls.

Talk: We need to win this one at all costs. Stay solid at the back and hit them on the break. Exploit the space and be very organized in defence.

Tactics:

Friedel as ever reliable and making decisions of coming out and punching the ball etc.

Anyukov and Capdevilla will stay close to the wingers and stick with them all game. Stop the crosses and get your tackles in early. Capdevilla to stay back all match. Anyukov will go forward to support Cani when we attack.

Musacchio will pick up Adebayor while Marchena will cover the second striker and all the second balls and loose balls. Musacchio go with ade and dont be over-powered by him. Challenge him aerially and smash into him from the start. Marchena keep close to their ss, if any, and clear the crosses and long balls aimed at him.

Rodwell will defend more today and will stay back. Become a shield for your defence and dont let their attacks develop in our midfield half. Keep moving around and close them down when they are in possession. Valero will be a deep lying playmaker in this match. Help Rodwell in defending and then look for long thru balls for the forwards. Rodwell will sometimes also go forward and join the attacks. Go forward and exploit the space when they are caught attacking and dont have men behind the ball.

Cani and Simao out and out wingers. Both cross every time you get the ball and also shoot on sight. Run at the fullbacks, they are not the best defensively and exploit the space when they go forwrds.

Giovinco will play in between their midfield and defence. He will have plenty of space in the game to work and will pick passes for soldado and wingers. Also dribble at their defence with pace and shoot. Use your intelligence to look for openings and take the centre halves out of their comfort zone and make a nuisance of yourself.

Soldado lone striker. In good fom and will hold the ball up for others to come into the picture. Look for the wingers' crosses and thru balls by Giovinco. Work with Giovinco and make one-twos around their defence. Need a goal from him today.

Congratulations lads. The double wrapped up last week, so we can go out and play with freedom and no pressure. Let’s cap a fine season in style.

We are up against Leverkusen who are very attacking on the flanks. We will look to take advantage of this by stifling the supply to their wingers and getting into the channel inside the full backs, running at the CBs. De Silvestri will stay tight to Bale and not give him any space to run, nullifying his threat.

Defensively, Rolando and Jagielka will pick up any strikers between them, and the full backs will pick up their respective wingers. Toulalan will sit and protect the back four.

Sirigu – Command you box and come for crosses. Control the defence in front of you, organising them. Remain alert for balls in behind, where you can sweep up.

De Silvestri & Baines – First and foremost I want you to pick up the two wingers. Keep them on the outside and facing towards the corners rather than the goal forcing them to supply from wider positions than they are comfortable. De Silvestri – you should stay back and look after Bale. You have the pace to stay with him, so stay tight to him and don’t allow him to turn. Put a couple of hard tackles in early and let him know you are there and he should withdraw into his shell. Baines - You should look to get forward to support the winger in attack, overlapping and getting crosses into the box. At free kicks and corners, De Silvestri should stay back.

Rolando & Jagielka – If Leverkusen are playing Agbonlahor, Rolando will pick him up and Jagielka will play spare, clearing any balls into the box. Jags will also then pick up the runs from any AM. If they play 2, then Jags will pick him up.

Toulalan – you will play as the DM, sitting and breaking up opposition attacks and protecting the back four. You will provide the base and cover which will allow Modric to play the creative game. With support from Modric, you will stifle any creativity from the central midfielders and stop them getting the ball wide to the wingers.

Modric – you will play as playmaker. Get on the ball and dictate play. You will control our attacks, looking to feed our forwards. Supply them narrow and encourage them to attack the inside forward. Also look to VDV playing in the AM role, in and around the box. Defensively, you must help Toulalan out protecting the back four and picking up any central midfield runners.

VDV – you are going to be playing the AM/support striker role today. When the ball is central, you will look to get onto it. Look for Matri making runs in behind and play him in. Also look to play the wingers in behind the defense. When the ball is with the wingers, get close to Matri and feed off any knockdowns and loose balls.

Elia & Farfan – attack the channel between the full backs and the centre backs, trying to get one on one with the centre back. When you get crosses in, try and get the ball in low for Matri to run onto, no higher than knee height. When the ball is on the opposing flank, get into the box. Defensively track back and help your FB out defensively.

Matri – you are playing as the main focal point of our attacks today. Our wingers will look for you in the box, so look to time your runs, so that you are running onto the cross. VDV will be looking to get up and in support of you centrally.

The last week and although we can longer win the league we want to ensure we get Champions League football next season. We only need a draw from this game but that is not the Porto way, let’s make sure that we’re not relying on results from elsewhere and get the three points and send the Porto fans home happy and eager for the next season! I want a high pressure game today, to get at them immediately from the off and put them on the back foot. Niggle, badger and harass them for every ball, use a combination of speed, power and intelligence to smash Villarreal’s back line apart early on and end the season on a high!

GK: Reina – Be vocal to the backline, make them aware of exactly what you want them to do in regards to set pieces and pushing up, Simao is a decent free kick taker so ensure the wall has no gaps. Don’t punch the ball unless absolutely necessary. Be on your toes for any shots from outside the box to test you. Look to come out early for crosses from the wings and then set the ball lose to our players forcing them back immediately.

RB: Van Der Weil – Great to have you back in the side after last week and I expect you to be faced with Simao down the wing. Pace wise he’s slightly slower than you so close him down early and apply pressure to him as he goes for the ball. Look to keep him on the outside and slow him down into the corners. Main thing is to not give away free kicks to him in dangerous positions, that’s his speciality so timing is key. Once you have the ball use it to work the wing with Reus, quick one twos using speed and technique that you both possess should have the Villarreal team on the back foot.

LB: Eliseu – Call up to the team for the Portuguese International. You’re probably the fastest wingback in the league so Cani will not be beating you for pace, Cani though is a decent passer of the ball so make sure you’re blocking his balls through into the box. Once you have the ball then burst forward with your electric pace working with Cazorla to go past the replacement fullback for Villareal.

CBs: Chiellini & Godin – Expecting Soldado alone up front so if that’s the case Godin is to man mark as he can match him for pace and is excellent at nullifying attackers. Chiellini is to pick up the pieces if Soldado escapes his marker but mainly to be used to plug gaps and block passes/crosses into the box.

CMs: Fellaini & Martinez – Fellaini is the play as the defensive role today and to really physically impose himself in front of the back four. Stifle and break down Villareal’s midfield threat. Especially look to stay back and monitor the gaps posed by our wingbacks marauding forward. Your foundation then provides our forward players to create opportunity. Martinez you too can physically dominate so between you both we’ll be winning any goal kicks into the middle of the park. Look to assist when required defensively and then move the ball quickly from wing to wing as we push forward. Both of you I want to get into the boxes for free kicks and use your height to nullify/cause threats.

RW: Reus – Return to the starting eleven for the in-form winger. I want you to use your acceleration and speed whilst on the ball to go for incisive and darting runs past the fullback. Look to anticipate quick one twos with VDW to create space behind the fullback and then break into the box looking for a clumsy tackle or thread the ball through to Hulk & Falcao. Ensure that you don’t though forget to track back and assist VDW when needed. Come inside if Cazorla has the ball on the other wing and create a 3 man strike force to blitz their back line.

LW: Cazorla – Up against Capdevilla today and you should have the beating of him. Show him a masterclass with your close ball and turning skills. Use 1 touch passes with Pereira to beat him and get behind the Villarreal backline. Ensure you don’t forget to assist Pereira when required though. Look to come inside and swamp the Villarreal box if Reus is looking to put a ball in from the other side.


ST: Falcao & Hulk – The two of you are fighting it out to be the top scorers in the league and I want you both to push one another all the way today.
Falcao, I want you to sit on the shoulder of their deepest defender dropping in and out of the offside trap to keep them deep and on the back foot. Look for the wingers to float balls over to you so be first up for the ball and hammer it into the corners.
Hulk, I want you to sit a bit further out and work with Falcao into the box or if the opportunity arises to crack one at the goal from outside the box, their number one goalkeeper is injured today so I want the replacement to be tested early on. Use your low centre of gravity and power to keep the ball close to you and force through gaps in the back line.

If losing: 70m take off Fellaini and Cazorla and bring on Marchisio and Rodriguez, go 4-4-2 (attacking) and use these fresh legs and added goal threat to bombard the Villareal goal.
If winning: 80m take off Hulk and bolster the defence line with Casemiro sitting in front of them in a 4-1-4-1 formation, look to contain the ball in front of this wall and force Villareal to get more and more desperate before counterattacking with the wingers and Falcao at them at speed to kill them off.

Solid game, watch there Cbs and dont let them get in behind you, dunne use your strength to win ariel battles , use your tea mate to distribute teh balland create attack from that.most importantly though dont let there strikers have time, get on them quickly and force them to go back ward.

today i ask differnet role of you, Palombo you will be defensive today, sit back and protect your back four, if they are playing and AM he is your reponsibility, shodow him and give him no time, Moutinho you will play more attacking look to move forward and attack, but come back and denfend at alltimes, shoot from range if nessacary, look to distribute the ball to players in better postitions and move forward.

Even though you are starting as winger thru the game i would like you to act as strikers, at every opportunity come inside and take you man on, look for Diumbia to use his pace at play all thru to him, use Coutinho and Moutinho to your advantage, play ball back to them and move, go down the wings sometimes but we dont have much hieght in the middle so majority of the time come inside.

Act as the creatot today, when Piatti and Jovetic are coming inside drop back and act as an outlet, always look for the ball, constant movement, like the wingers look for Doumbia to exploit his pace and attempt to play balls into him, dont be afraid to shoot but pass first and dont be afraid to go backwards, rtaher keep the ball thean lose it.

ST Doumbia, today your main aim is to use your explosive pace to get in behind them, look for your teamates to attempot to thread balls into you and use your pace to get onto them, look for your wingers to also amke runs and feed them, youll have couinho and moutinho behind you for extra attacking options. shoot from distance if posssible but pass first. keep them guessing, you are one of the rare strikers who can do that.

Tactics:

Sanchez stay strong and make himself big in one-on-one occasions. Come out for crosses and be very vocal today.

Musacchio, Marchena and Capdevilla will take it in turns to mark their strikers. Mark the striker who is closer to you, whichever striker. Mark him and be very physical with him. Hulk will start probs with Falcao so we need to keep em quiet. Its easier said than done but you all are experience and know how to snuff forwards. Challenge for the high balls, dont be bullied by em and smash into a couple of tasty tackles from behind into them when they get the ball very early on. Frustrate them.

Rodwell will just sit in front of the back 3 and shield em. Dont expose them but he can go forward and be his box-to-box self. Also cover in the fullback area if any of their wingers has broken free. Pass the ball forward, short passes and keep the tempo a bit slow.

Motta and Valero will be infront of Rodwell and will provide cover when they are attacking. Fill the midfield with bodies when they have the ball and make it narrow and make it difficult for them to pass the ball around. Defend back in numbers, let them have the ball and then hit them on the break. Cover your men, mark em and do your job on the midfield players. Also both will go forward in attack and will play long thru balls for the forwards.

Simao is given a free role today. He will go wherever he wants on the pitch today. Use your intelligence and skill to find gaps and pick out holes in their defence. You have three forwards waiting for you to give them the ball so get the ball, look up and pick out a pass. Also run around their midfield area and defence and dont stay still for one second in the match. Shoot on sight and play one-twos etc with the forwards and be clever. We have the fire-power to out do their defence.

Rossi and Giovinco will play up front with the centre forward Soldado. Both Rossi and Giovinco will play wide and get the ball and cut in more. Rossi can come more central if he wants. Basically the front three are free to inter-change or move wherever they want in the attack. Dont let their defenders get comfortable to you. If one full-back is finding it easy to stop one of our forwards then he will change his position with the other forward. Run around, look for Simao and link up with him. Rossi and Giovinco to come in the box and make runs at the far post.

Soldado will hold the ball and get his head on the long balls and crosses. Fill their box for crosses and harass and close em down from the front. Defend from the front.

Tactics
Playing against Spurs today so want to end the season on a high. Their main player Adebayor is injured so we are confident of getting our first 3 points of the season.

GK Robles - Use your height to catch all the aerial balls. Don't be afraid to come out of your area to gather any loose balls. All in all just be confident and you'll do well.

FULL BACKS - Maxi Pereira + Filipe Luis - You 2 are the right back and left back and your main priorities will be to defend. Don't let the wingers take you on and you'll do fine. Also help Turan and Reyes in attack.

CENTRE BACKS Dominguez + Perea - Keep a flat back line. Use your aerial abilities to win headers. Stay compact and don't make unnecessary mistakes.

CENTRE MIDS Thiago + Neville - Neville will stay back and help the defence while Thiago will be the playmaker of the team. He will make attacking runs into the opposition box and will help Diego in creating attacks.

WINGERS Turan + Reyes - Use your dribbling ability to take on the full backs. Put dangerous crosses into the box and also track back to help our full backs. Have a shot from distance if you see an opening.

ATTACK MID Diego - The playmaker of the team. Use you great passing ability to create chances for your teammates. Shoot if you see some space.

CENTRE FORWARD Adrian - Hold the ball up when alone up front. Quick pass and moves are your strengths so use them as much as you can. If you see an opening then shoot.
