So Nick, are you going to make an offer. First option means you also have the chance to sign him and my offer has to be more tempting than yours. Not that you can sit and stop any other deals for RVP until you are ready.

That way, I have Modric for my big game, and then you have Modric and RVP for yours.

Well put it this way Nando. I only have 11.3 Mil left in my budget and I want to leave some for another deal i have planned. 8 Million is the tops. What kind of player do you have need for? Mahamadou Diarra appeal?

If you get a deal involving Arteta, hit me up, because I will try and match it.

Honest answer is that you would struggle to find someone of RVP's quality as they are likely to be playing for the Barca's, Reals, United's of this world and it's going to take more than qualifying for Europe.

But then the exact same is true of getting a CM of Modric's quality I guess.

If you make top 4, the quality you can attract goes up. Top 2 and it goes up again. Basically, the more successful you are, the better the players you can attract.

That Arteta deal that fell through keeps bugging me......

That should help against the 12 mil you wanted because Gibbs is less of a player than Tremoulinas and worth less.

There is one clause to this though. You get 8 million and I get Arteta now. And then we will swap Monreal and Gibbs after Fridays game (because I have crapola left back cover and Gibbs is injured this week)
