Ryan Jones 1st World Cup

I've heard (and Im not sure if I've made this up) that this is Ryan Jones first World Cup?

And was it just me, or against Fiji, did I see Ryan Jones carrying the ball into contact against 2/3 defenders, pump his legs and make ground instead of going directly to ground.

He looked a bit smaller than he has the last couple of years, and more explosive. He seemed too big and sluggish to me.

Hes taken a lot of flack over the last couple of years (some warranted, some not), but even when we was playing well doing the 'dirty work', he was still known as sideways jones for a serious lack of threat with ball in hand.

Obviously, Wales will now win the world cup.

Yep its his first he was injured in 07.

Still think we need Lydiate back at N06 but Jones has been playing well and good luck to him strength in depth etc.

I think he was one of those players that were seen as un-droppable and maybe got comfortable complacent but now he has lost his place its the kick up the backside maybe.
