How as your team perfomed??

During the Rugby World Cup?

As good as you expected?

Better than you Expected

Not as good as you was expecting?

For me being an England fan, England got to where i thought they would 1/4 final.

My reason for thinking that is that England are just starting imo to play well togehter as team but need more time/games together before they be come anything to threaten the SH teams on a regular basis.

What is your opinion on how your team as performed this RWC?

Alright I suppose, we're in the semi finals, better than we could have hoped before the tournament began.

I was quietly confident from the first warm up game even though we lost that one.
I'm very pleased on how we have performed thus far

From my expectations at the start of the World Cup Ireland did better as I thought that they would have lost to Oz and then lost to The Boxs

From my expectations from after the Austraila match we failed miserabley, I expected a final really.

A quarter place maybe a backward step compaired to 2007(reaching the final)But with the length of time that Martin Johnson as a coach(or what ever his title is)then i think we was about right......We cannot afford to start games like England did, and expect to win every game.

so what are you saying- that you expected us to start every game badly- we should have got into the games earlier- we have the most amount of players to pick from , no excuses, it was a very bad performance

I totaly agree with you, it was a very bad peformance.

Scotland were awful - pretty much as expected to be honest. AR is a good coach but a urine poor selector. Still we would have been gubbed by the ABs anyway.

Oh ye of little faith gavstar!! I keep saying to myself. But i am very honest with my opinions, and I thought we'd struggle in the group stages, and 1/4 was a dream, I was wrong.
Rhys P has been excellent, but I also thought we'd miss steven jones (best Welsh % kicker) my jury is out on that one until after the semi-finals.

Yeah pretty much the same. After the warm ups I felt a QF was the only realistic target and a SF a possible but unlikely goal.

However after beating Australia and Italy in the manner we did I really felt the final was a realistic goal and a SF the minimum target really.

I'm devestated about the defeat to a very good Wales side, and the manner of it. 2015 seems a long way away and its the end of the road for a lot of Irish legends who deserved better IMO.

On the positive side the wins against Australia and Italy were two of the best performances from Ireland in a couple of seasons and we showed that we are still a force to be reckoned with at International level. Overall the campaign was positive and much better than the 2007 disaster but to play so well in the group stages and go out in the QF is a massive disappointment.

We have done as well as I expected.Would we have done as well if Henson hadnt got crocked?Strongly suspect that we would not.

Wales- tbh i thought we could do this from the start
