Who was the wort ever P4P number 1?
My knowledge of who actually has held the top number 1 spot over the years since the Ring introduced the rating is a bit patchy. Just wondering who people think was the weakest fighter to ever reach the illustrious number 1 spot.

Mike Tyson or Don Curry?
From 1980, Hagler, Tyson, Whitaker, Holyfield, Jones Jr, Hopkins, Mayweather, Pacquiao. According to that quote, Curry wasn't #1 so not sure.

In terms of career achievements, it's probably Curry. Superb fighter in his short peak, but his list of best wins is McCrory, Starling and Jones, which I'd have to say is a level below the other so-called 'weak' pound for pound number ones such as Tyson, De la Hoya, Trinidad and Mosley.

Allow me, Scott.
Undisputed p4p number 1 1985-1986...beat Starling, Jones, McCrory...
Starling, McCallum and McCrory all said that Curry was the best technical boxer they ever faced...
Was outboxing McCallum before McCallum won the lottery...
Weight drained against Honeyghan, small face and no muscle...Cut caused by a head butt...Any Featherweight could have beaten Curry that night...Honeyghan got lucky.
There, I think I've summed it up so eloquently that even the great man himself would have been proud of it.

Not big and clever Scott...Get some self esteem kiddo....
Must be a British thing...Not surprised, after all you did need us Americans to save you in WW2...
Riddick Bowe, Tim Witherspoon and Tony Tubbs deserve to rank just as high or maybe even higher in the all time Heavyweight standings than Lennox Lewis...

But what a left that was. I remember his KO of Simon Brown where Brown was punching air when he was down and out.

Donanld Cury was a great talent whose peak was painfully short. But during his peak, there was hardly a better fighter who could match him on anything.

Beat Starling twice!!
I thought Chavez was no1 during Tyson's time.....
But in fairness no need to add to Chris' perfect summation..
