Packers. Ever since 'There's Something About Mary'. Brett Favre got me into them, but the organisation kept me a fan!

Parents got me into it and Dad is a Bears fan so being a child i picked their main rivals! LOL!

I haven't posted since 606 moved here, but being BaltimoreMark, you might guess I'm a Ravens fan. You would be right. I live about 15 miles from M&T Bank stadium, and I hate those damn Steelers!

I'm optimistic of making the divisional round of the playoffs at least. Think Mathews can have a big year and help us win the division.

I'm from Great Yarmouth originally, but am moving to Bedford in a few weeks for work.

Everything's kinda slow at the minute with nothing but Baseball until August.

Baseball? Really? I find it's like watching paint dry. We at least have the tennis and cricket, not that that's any consolation!

Good to have a Bolt with us, you can get some banter going with Grizzly who is our resident Chief.... Didn't you beat them last season? ;-)

Also, what did you think of the Liuget pick?

I love my Baseball. Don't support anyone, I just love the amosphere of a home team trailing by 1 or 2 runs in the bottom of the 9th.

Yes, a 31-0 was a nice game to watch after the week 1 loss.

I think Liuget looks very very good, but he needs to be faster off the snap more consistently though.

Baseball is just awful. I fell asleep watching it before.

Baseball is great, don't get me wrong it's not as exciting as NFL and NHL but it's still very exciting if you watch a game from the start.

Just started following american football at the start of last season and I chose Green Bay, luckily for me. I think I made a good choice not because they won the super bowl but because of the way they play. It's good to watch. Also like the Rams because of Bradford, I'm a fan of him. The Packers would be my favourite though.

I've been reading some of the articles since 606 closed down but only set up an account the other day

I've only been following the NFL for 2 years, bit I'm so hooked. As a lot of british people. Madden got me into it. It was the off season. So I started buying pro football weekly and watching total access. I decided to follow the bengals. They were a team in despair and I subsequently found out, this is the norm! I didn't want to pick a top team, but they ended the 09 season with a play off appearance. However, last year wasn't the best, but apparently that's the norm.
I do find it hard to follow American football the off season. Don't often get the chance to get on the net to see what's happening

In order of worst teams/owners, I'd say the top (bottom?) 5 are:

Bengals - As highlighted by everyone outside the organisation, Brown makes a Scotsman look like a philanthropist. Someone needs to introduce him to the 21st century.

Raiders - Davis can't help but meddle and his involvement in the player selection etc. has probably caused more damage than any poor coaching. Plus he has made some bizarre decisions over the last decade, not least his attempts to look like a 80's pimp!

Redskins - Last year, I'd rate Snyder worse than Davis, but it seems he's finally listened to advice and left his GM and HC to get on with the job. One more stupid FA signing and he's back at the bottom of the heap.

49ers - York isn't necessarily responsible for the slide through the 00's, but appointing Singletary was a big mistake and the lack of good personnel selection over recent years has reduced a once great franchise to also rans for nearly a decade. Harbaugh may well turn it around so maybe they are on the up, but it remains to be seen.

Lions - Not the worst, especially after the last two years, but having not won their division in 12 years and a championship in over half a century, some of the personnel decisions in the past have doomed them to obscurity. Finally seem to be headed in the right direction, but still al lot of work to do. (NB took an ex Redskin to start the turnaround, by the way. )

I'm an Eagles fan. Have been since 2004 after going to Philadelphia for a three week holiday.

I've been a Packers fan since 1983 when my uncle brought me a t-shirt back from the states , i didn't know who they were or hadn't watched any American football before then . But started to read up on it and then started to watch it on tv . Needless to say i was a happy man last season .

New England Patriots fan.

Followed them since the the UK game vs Tampa. Whoever won that game I decided to follow them as it was the first time id really seen an American Football game live all the way threw (I do have a soft spot for the Bucs). Followed the rest of that season till around christmas lost interest. Picked it up again at the first game of the season last year and followed consistently since.

ooh, missed this thread. tampa bay all the way - go bucs! chose to follow them when i started playing football - only been to america once, on a two week holiday, and spent most of that in Orlando, so went with the nearest team geographically. think i ended up with a great one

Another Buc fan,all the best posters on here are! I'm heading over for the game in October,booked the flights and hotel there! Hoping for a tight game but after last weeks's performance,the Bears scare me!

god am I glad I'm not a Jags fan. I like owning a #5 jersey not worrying that Raheem's gonna cut him three days before the season. And the Bears could worry me too, but the Bears O-line has still got holes open wider than the holes on Jodie Marsh, and Atlanta's D-line is not that threatening IMO (no-one in the middle, an old John Abraham on one side and a Ray Edwards without a Williams Wall next to him on the other). McCoy was in the backfield constantly vs. the Lions, and Brian Price, who was probably our best D-lineman last week, is making his first start on Sunday. So I think we're gonna put a hell of a lot more heat on Cutler than the Falcs did. Their D, though, is pretty damn worrying. Really hope Freeman finds his groove by then :/
