Re: Batman Arkham City
Already have. Got it preordered through shopto.net and comes with a DLC skin for Batman (Beleive it's the 1970's comic book Batman)
Have heard all the DLC preorder incentives will become available for download at a future time. Aswell as challenge map packs for Catwoman, Robin and Nightwing. Nightwing's DLC is due in November. (source: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-08-05-batman-pre-order-skins-will-release-as-dlc)
They've really gone all out with the different versions of the game you can order. Standard, two face steel book, joker steel book, batman steel book, catwoman steel book, robin edition and collectors edition to name a few.
Here is all the DLC preorder incentives that have been revealed so far: http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=329601

Re: Batman Arkham City
Looking forward to this game. Haven't bought any of the previous games but I must admit I really like the look of it.
Is there much info on it? E.g. is it more of a free world game than a fixed path? What gadgets will you have? etc. Any info appreciated, thanks.

Since there's a Wiki (sometimes multiple) for nearly every game I'll just post a link to Batman's below and you can just read the sections rather than me typing a load of info out. I'm Lazy.

Re: Batman Arkham City
Got my copy yesterday, and it's every bit as good (and better) than Arkham Asylum.
The riddles you have to solve are alot more harder than they were in the previous game, feel like I should belong to mensa after completing some of them.

Better than asylum. Lot more things going on and gadgets. Boss fights are pretty easy. The buddies are quality. The open city brings a lot more too the game.
Not even halfway through but totally immersed in it.

The Riddler challenege makes up a lot of percentage.
I've done a lot of side missions and still only have about 55%

Once you have finished the story mode, can you still go back in to play the rest of the side missions?

Yeah, you can continue to play in free roam mode so that you can complete the side missions (e.g. Identity Thief, Contract Killer and Titan Containers) and to also pick up any remaining riddles and riddler hostages.
There is also character change points on the map so that you can alternate between Batman and Catwoman (Catwoman can pick up the pink riddler trophies and also the green ones, but batman can only pick up the green ones).
There will also be riddler informants still available so as to locate any remaining trophies, and gangs of thugs littered about the map so that you can pick up any remaining xp required to level up your character to the max before starting a new game plus (should you choose to do so).

Thanks for that. Its sounds quite a big game and a one that you wont be bored with once completed the story mode. Cheers, going to get it soon.

Re: Batman Arkham City
I bought this last year - completed it - sold it on eBay....now had to buy it again for my 4 year old (Dont worry, language is turned off!) and had to admit how amazed i am the 2nd time round!
What a game, you really have to think about it a lot of the time. The boss fights can be easy, but can also be clever....Mr Freeze springs to mind!
