Club rugby week in Ireland
A rather nice initiative I think, helping to spread the grass roots gospel. I hope it takes off.

Over in England when international soccer weekends come around and the Premiership takes a break they have something like a “Non-League Day” and people are encouraged to go out and watch their local clubs play rather than take in the top level action on the telly.
Well over the past couple of months there has been a truckload of Test rugby on the TV, and of course our Irish hearts were broken last Saturday morning. But does this mean we've given up on the game? I certainly hope not!
So with the RaboDirectPRO12 taking a break this weekend, what say you have a gander at the fixtures below and see if one is taking place near you, and if so, head on down?

I follow Ballymena RFC, try to get to a number of games each year. Have to say think the Auld fella prefers Ballymena games to Ulster games, as its more of a social ocasion for him.
Have faith that Ballymena will get back up to 1A this year, where they belong.

Any truth in the rumour that Luke Marshall got injured last weekend?

Shannon man here. In England now but I keep an eye on the results. Good start to the season even though it's a very new and young team.
Keeping an eye on Seapoint as well at the moment due to my brother joining them this season.
