3rd/4th Placa Play Off & Beyond
Ok so it didn't work out as we all planned but was still a great tournamnet for us in so many ways.
We have one game left next Friday against IMO Australia so how does Gatland and Co approach it for me there is only two choices.
a. Give the same team (bar Hook) a chance to finish on a high
or
b. Give some of the fringe players a run out.
For me it has to be a. Give the same team (bar Hook) and injuries/suspension the nod and let them go out and hopefully end the tournamnet on a high, we have an appalling record against the SH in the SH so if we could get a result next week it would gives these young lads a huge amount of confidence.
As for beyond next week well our next game after that is against Australia in Decemeber and for me I would stick with pretty much all of this team, S Williams and S Jones might have retired so I would look anyway to easing replacments in for them, Brew or Stoddard on the wing Tovey maybe to get involved and give Priestland some competition.
8 of todays players were 23 or under then there is the likes of McCusker, Turnbull, Tuperic, Morgan (if sides with us) all waiting in the wings so the future is bright.

It has to be a. for me as well.
Preferably against the AB's though, with taking the scalp of the world champs (Aus) in December!

"Win it for Shane" will be the mantra and so the best available XV will be selected/

Love the sentiment, but they should win it for the fans, for Sam, for Gats, for Edwards, Howley, McBride et al. But most of all, they should win it for themselves and for each other.

They could if they'd have nailed the kicks, it's true.
