Mania 7 vs Slaughter.... It was the 1st time I'd watched a wrestling match. We didn't have Sky at the time but my brother had borrowed a tape of the event off a friend. I walked in mid way through the match & couldn't believe the Super Hero comeback from Hogan (who my brother sad was Rockys cousin due to him appearing in Rocky II)...
Mania 9 is probably my worse Hogan moment, comical how he left that event the champ

Weirdly, it was when Hogan beat Triple H and became WWE Undisputed Champion in 2002. Looking back he never should have won, but at the time I didn't give him a hope in hell! (Back when I wasn't 100% sure it was "fake")

I'm the same as Gazzy on this one, as a kid I preferred Warrior, Savage and Hart.
His one shining light for me was Bash at the Beach.
Yes I realise his impact on the industry and how wrestling wouldn't be what it was today without his involvment but i've never enjoyed watching him in a match.

Totally with Gazzy and Hero here.
Savage was and always will be the man.

I think I've always been fairly ambivalent about Hogan. I thought the way he used to rip his vests off was pretty cool and I enjoyed watching his fights, but I can't say I was ever a huge fan.
Just lately I've formed the opinion he was a far better wrestler than he is an actor. His rant at Sting, just before his wide-eyed "OMG - did I just say that?" expression did make me chuckle.
