Heineken Cup/Amlin Challenge/SuperXV Sportsguru tipping comps - UPDATED July 2012

Hi all, just a heads up that I have set up 606v2 pools so we can have friendly tipping competitions for a fair few upcoming tournaments. Details are below.

In the past we have organised pools in tipping competitions run via www.sportsguru.com. Sportsguru recently merged with www.SuperBru.com, and they appear to have kept the SG tipping engine, while using the SuperBru brand. As a result, if you have not done so already you have the option of shifting your SG log-in over - it's a fairly painless process, even if (like I did) you already have an account on SuperBru.

Quick question. Called into William hill on my rush home. Had a £5 accumulator on scarlets +11, Irish +8, clermont -28 and Edinburgh -1. Edinburgh came back and won by 1 point. Does that make it a draw and therefore a lost bet? Please help.

Curry Cup starts August 11th, ITM cup starts Aug 23rd (so both overlap with the Rugby Championship)

I'm gonna sit out RABO and Heino Cup this year (too unfamiliar), the Premier League (too many games!), Aviva (no interest)

How many games in the Currie Cup Biltong? I've no idea about team make ups and form, etc but might give it a go for kicks.

Will have a go at ITM and Rugby Championship though. I really need to reduce my load I was doing 8 tipping comps at the same time at one stage and it was like a full time job trying to keep up with it.

There are six teams this year LB, 10 matches each. so all in all 30 round robin matches and the semis and final.

I set a challenge on Super bru for the "foreigners" so join the currie cup.

Now for a bit of research before it kicks off - aiming to come at least 3rd this time.

Any chance that someone (in authority?!) could set up a T14 comp?

I'll provide you guys with a guide to the 6 teams later on, it should give you a good indication of how the teams should perform.

The currie cup results especially in the first half when the rugby championship is on will not go according to the Super rugby conference.

The cheetahs and Lions are much more competitive here. In fact the teams are more equal and if you go home advantage you will have a 70% accuracy.
