World Club Competition - Leinster V Reds
Let's say the world cup wasn't on this year and there was space in the schedule for this game. I'd would be a cracking game and a great chance to see which competition produces the strongest team.
Looking at the teams that played in both finals:
Here's the team that won the super XV final:
15 FB Jonathon Lance
14 W Rod Davies
13 C Anthony Faingaa
12 C Ben Tapuai
11 W Digby Ioane
10 FH Quade Cooper
9 SH Will Genia
1 P Ben Daley
2 H Saia Faingaa
3 P Greg Holmes
4 L Rob Simmons
5 L James Horwill
6 F Scott Higginbotham
7 F Beau Robinson
8 N8 Radike Samo
And here's the team that won the HC:
15 FB Isa Nacewa
14 W Shane Horgan
13 C Brian O'Driscoll
12 C Gordon D'Arcy
11 W Luke Fitzgerald
10 FH Jonathan Sexton
9 SH Eoin Reddan
1 P Cian Healy
2 H Richardt Strauss
3 P Mike Ross
4 L Leo Cullen
5 L Nathan Hines
6 F Kevin McLaughlin
7 F Sean O'Brien
8 N8 Jamie Heaslip
You could only really say that Leinster would be stronger than Ireland at fullback and the Reds were stronger than Aus on the wing with Ioane being injured for the WC game.
Also looking at the stats from both games (courtesy of scrum.com) Leinster's figures make for much better reading:
Leinster - Reds
Tries: 3 v 2
Conversions: 3 v 1
Penaties: 4 v 2
Kicks from hand: 16 v 37
Passes: 158 v 101
Runs: 143 v 89
Meters run with ball: 454 v 440
Clean breaks: 17 v 2
Defenders beaten: 24 v 19
Offloads: 17 v 6
Rucks won: 98% v 92%
Turnovers conceded: 17 v 21
Tackles: 99 v 117
Missed Tackles: 18 v 15
Scrum success rate: 86.84% v 86.67%
Lineout sucess rate: 100% v 100%
Penalties conceded: 4 v 6
So, after all of that. Who do you think would win!?

Mickado, those stats mean nothing mate, two different opponents.
Also depends who is the referee (Bruce Lawrence) and where it is played.

Absolutely mate. the stats aren’t there to prove anything. But just to give an indication of how each game was won.
As for where the game was played, weren’t the Reds at home and Leinster were in a neutral venue?

Yes reds played at home against the Crusaders, who in my opinion were actually the better team during the competition. They travelled something like 100000 km's during their season and played no home matches, plus they missed out playing the two weakest teams in the competition.
I guess the only way would be to have them play each other.

LEINNNNNSTUUUUUURRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We would have a bigger crowd then the reds if we played down under i'd say.
Quade cooper would do his best impression of a turtle going into his shell
and there poor backrow would be filleted

It would be fantastic - if it could be arranged without messing up the participating club & countries important HC and S15 games.
Soccer has it's World Club Championship. Why not rugby?
