Jim Ross - The People's Champion

Just been reading on Wrestlezone that the reason Jim Ross was brought back to RAW after his 'firing' by Johnny Charisma was because immediately after the segment where JR lost his job, there a huge drop in viewership figures.

Jim Ross is the biggest draw in sports entertainment BAH GAWD!

I do think that a lot of people just see it as cruel treatment of a man like JR and it turns people off.

That and the lingering realisation that it leaves just King and Cole on commentary, and that's an area that badly needs freshening up for me.
